iPod touch backing up takes over two hours

Have a lot of pictures stored in your Camera Roll of your Photos app? See if these steps offer any improvement in your backup times. Also make sure you are using a computer with a USB 2.0 port.

Mow much GB Space have you used? Delete some pictures if anything.

The more often you back it up, the less time it will take. At leas, that is my experience.

That's strange. Even if your syncing GB's of space it shouldn't take two hours to back up. You should end the sync and re-try. Other than that only select a few things to sync at once so it doesn't take such a long time to sync, and you can have quicker portions synced instead of the whole two hour long process.

Make sure your iPod isn't trying to sync files and files of folders.
