mine just shipped but the fedex tracking site doesn't work!
If you pre-ordered the iPhone 4, it is staged for pickup by our shipping carrier. Because of unprecedented volume, it may be as much as 72 hours before the carrier can provide any detailed information to you. Please don't be concerned if you visit the carrier's site and specific information about your order is not provided. The information will be updated when the carrier picks up the order at our warehouse.

yeah, I got that information; the problem now is teh fedex website states that packages are being delivered normally but their tracking system is down. Since I'm taking teh dayy off from work to wait for my iphone, I just want to make sure it will arrive tomorrow.

Long story short: Ordered on the 15th @ 10:00 AM, Order changed to the 16th and backordered on the 17th. On th 22nd Backorder removed at 1:30 PM (CST). Today it changed to Shipped and tracking number but no Carrier @ 10:00 AM (CST). Checked FedEx Tracking and the results are below @ 2:00 PM (CST)

I was in the back order list yesterday and then about 2:00 PM CST (Nashville) I was not and about 15 minutes ago a Tracking number was added:

Ship date is now 6/23/10
Carrier null
Tracking number starts with 4086

Tracking online is currently behind real time. Those things are going out next day, so you SHOULD have it tomorrow.
#130 - Checked fedex.com and I now have fedex shipping confirmation saying it was picked up at 8:05am from Fort Worth, TX this morning and arriving by 3pm June 24th.
This was one of the common situations where a 32gb phone went off backorder appx. 3pm CDT yesterday and will still make the 24th ship date. I hope the rest have the same results when today's processing is updated in everyone's systems and emails go out.
So... not a day or two early like some but still arriving when I expected it to the day I ordered. Seems like a lot of drama for the same end result.
