Bad CPU on macbook pro 17 inch Unibody

The right half of my trackpad stopped working 
did half my logic board snap in half?!?! jokes, but anyway this thread is fairly pointless...

I am not a troll I am a film producer for Discovery and NBC I have to work for a living
so I actually use the computer and not like some of you who want the latest toys !!!
I tried new user no difference . Some of you are so rude I hope you don't treat your friends like this !
But any way getting a new 1 on April 1
The ram by the way to access it I would have to remove 8 screws to even get to it
I will never post here again unless I have a Flack Jacket !

Final Cut Pro doesn't use 100% CPU unless you are rendering or exporting. Just because you are using a big software package, doesn't mean it'll use 100% CPU power all the time.
A simple export, and then checking if the CPU usage reaches 100% (iStat Pro widget) or 200% in Activity Monitor would easily tell you if both cores were working fine.

Sorry I couldn't of been any help because I didn't really know how to help.
However, people would be more mature if the OP would actually help us, help him. The OP ignored every viable suggestion to help him with his problem and continued to accuse a problem that seems very unlikely.
