Ultimately this will be ugly for apple if people are lined up for 12 hours or more and don't get what they want. The news will show up as always. They might see angry customers instead of happy ones though.

How the hell did apple make the same mistake again? Seriously, they had months to get their freagin stock right, on a handset design that they have been manufacturing for over 1 year now..

How many people are in line at Westfarms now? I'm debating of its worth it to go and wait in line or just order online. Looking to get a slate 32gb AT&T.

They didn't start making the iPhone 5s until the day of. That's why they didn't demo any of those phones during the keynote.

How is that stereotyping if that is what he saw?

Not intended at stereotyping at all, I asked the guy next to me what he was getting (he was there with 6 or 7 other older guys) and he said whatever he can get -- they send them back to China to make money. I was kind of dumbfounded but that's what he said.

"there were about 20+ old asian folks in line, obviously buying as many as they can"

It was more of joke than anything but to be technical, seeing how that was an assumption and they were simply patrons standing in line, it's a unjust stereotype.
