Bamboo iPhone 4 Case

You should do like the Japanese and wait for one made out of dolphin or whale skin.I, however, am waiting for a case made from the finest ivory, or the skull of an incredibly endangered and cute animal.
Can I use a screen protector and your case?
The honest answer is "probably". Our cases are designed to fit a bare iphone and the tolerances are very tight. But to appease you screen protector people, I put a .005" gap between the bezel and the face of the iPhone. Given that most screen protectors are thinner than that, If you put the case on very carefully it will probably work.

Thanks for emailing them vong. That's too bad. I think I'll wait and see if anyone here with an IS ordered this case too, and are able to fit the iP4 inside. I have the IS all over my iPhone, and I would hate to spend $90 on a case that won't fit my phone. i'm tempted to get the Birdland case though, it's gorgeous. :3
Edit: I found this blog site on the Grove case and the unboxing pictures (though not for the iP4). It definitely looks like you can use the IS with the grove case though, judging by the comments below. Gosh it's beautiful!

I'm really excited for this case. I ordered Birdland a few days ago. Got my code in an email, & entered it in to get my $20.00 deposit back. Easy & simple. Too bad it won't ship for a few weeks.

It looks like boxes we used to store our weed in during the late 60's. Something old becomes new again.
is it worth it to get the proof just to make sure it's what you want? i was kinda hoping they'd have like a preview page or something, looks sweet though.
Bought two on pre-order
I have no pretensions about it being a "green" purchase, it just looks good. My only concern is that the steel bezel will scratch the front glass. I should have asked before I bought, but does the bezel have a liner of any sort? Or, will the rigidity of the bezel or frame prevent chaffing, particularly at the coupling between the halves?

I got my pre-order and deposit in a few weeks ago and then last week got the email that they are ready to complete the pre-order. Nice that those of us who got in early ended up with a $20 discount! I decided to get one without any engraving on the back, just gonna keep it plain and simple.

ahh man, i think when i e-mailed them, they thought i meant iphone 3gs or something lol. ken(the main guy behind the design of the case) says theres .005" space. and joe says there is .003" for iphone 3gs case. so im pretty sure screen protectors will work~ hoepfully

I like these partly because I'm a big fan of the slider cases and I also like the way it looks and the dock it comes with looks cool too. I'm going to order this one along with a Lime Nude from Switcheasy today.

That's what I would think. As for me, I didn't hear about the company until a couple of months ago. I pretty much always had a Switcheasy CapsuleRebel on my 3GS.

read on their facebook page that if you can get them (apple) to allow you to use their logo, grove will happily customize it onto your case for you
