Quite reasonably priced for a Bang & Olufsen Bluetooth speaker. I had been looking at the Beosound A1, but this has kind of a more traditional B&O design to me, and is cheaper too.

I guess, technically it's doable. It would mean that the Wi-Fi is disabled automatically as soon as the power plug is detached. A peculiar feature.

Because you assume AirPlay 2 would result in a battery drain.

Let's do AirPlay 2 all the time, even if that 'costs' a couple of hours of the 27 hours of playtime.

That's the speaker I'd buy: indoor, outdoor, easy to connect to and disconnect from, stereo pair, way better wireless range (Wi-Fi Direct).
