Same issue here, countless setup as new attempts, turned off screen time, the same thing. Battery health 88%.

Same deal, just about. My iPhone 7+ battery drains (night or day), and the culprit seems to be Mail background activity. There used to be settings for this, but they all seem to be gone.

I have disabled that long time ago and it does not make any difference, still draining.

What setting do you mean and how you have determined mail background activity is causing the drain? I always close mail app after using it and I have also confirmed in IOS battery menu that absolutely nothing is running during night and still drain after IOS 12.1.4 installation has been double of what it used to be before that.
There is selection for mail in IOS menu for how often mail client checks mail and I tried turning it to manual but it also made absolutely no difference.

I'm pretty sure there is something wrong with IOS 12.1.4 or maybe this is some change they have made for Intel chipset based phones due to Qualcomm battle.
