I have iPhone 13 Pro and I expected much better battery life. Today I let my phone almost untouched and currently I have 81% after 13 hours.

Mine is the same. It shines if you use it a lot with little standby in between, but frequent small use consume a lot of battery. Also Photos app is very cpu intensive

This is weird. iPhone 12 on iOS 14 had better battery life.
I'm still wondering if half of 13P have defective batteries. Many of us noticed the same. It's not bad, it's just that to some others it seems to last almost double, I know.

I still didn't hear of no one with these "average" batteries have had it exchanged and it was better

I don’t think it‘s battery issue. It’s something in system that drains battery more than should.
I think hard reset and start from scratch will help, but I don’t have time and nerves for it ?

I did, it was the same-ish. Do it too for a day, then at the end of the day restore it from a backup

Ok, it seems I don’t neet to reset to default. Thank you for the test.
I lost 11% over night.

Ok that's a lot. Try putting it offline one night, and disable offline Find My. I lose 0% this way. If you test one night and it's like this too then you'll start investigating wha't using battery during night time. Do you have a lot of apps in background activity?

Okay another night without charger, but this time on airplain mode and again I lost 10% of battery. I think it should be 2-4%.

There is something really wrong with your battery. Here’s me 13 pro.

Really envious, no way my 13P can reach this. What did you do? Watch video or more intensive tasks like scrolling on socials or gaming? Always wifi?

90% wifi. Maybe 2-3 hours per day on data. Here are some of my settings. If you are looking for anything specific, let me know.
Here are some things i think made the difference.
1. Safari ad block - the phone heats up without it.
2. Disable screen time. I dont need an app to let me know what i have done on my phone.
3. I close the apps when im done - got used to do it on android so is not a big deal for me.
4. Disable 5g and set it to 4g only. Is not like i am downloading movies on the go or anything like that.
Hope it helps.

Background App refresh On !!!!
I would expect that option to drain battery

Ok, so I did another test. Rebooted phone. Now it tooked only 6% over night with airplain mode.

I think that reboot helped. I planned set my phone from scratch without backup restore, but it seems ok now.

Well you used 45% for 1 hour of screen time and less than a full day of standby, that is not super great autonomy compared to others

How does this look?
