The problem with that is apple QC is just fine.
Actual battery issues are very very low. Peoples ridiculous obsession about them is very very high.

I'm leaning towards software being the issue in my case, as I'm also experiencing issues with Bluetooth and sound (after using Bluetooth streaming).

I think we can both agree that Apples QC with software is strictly subpar.

Has nobody mentioned force-quitting the running apps???

What about Settings > Battery - some very helpful tools there for tracking battery usage trends.

Read this, it'll help you better understand your battery usage: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201264

Using WiFi instead of Cellular Data does not stop battery usage altogether - if your iPhone needs to connect to the Internet for a reason, it's going to use power (and by definition, will not be in Standby). WiFi is just likely to use less power. Notifications, email, and Location Services are among the many features that can automatically connect to the Internet on a periodic basis. A new app that makes regular use of Notifications is one example of a factor that can change your power usage.

i understand it's not standby = 0 usage,
it's just that the drainage after 100% seems a little faster than it was the past 4 months, that's all.
i'm not being picky, i'm just wondering WHY.
i already done all app quitting, minimal notifications, no locations services, no bluetooth, no nothing.
i guess i need to find a specific way of eliminating possibilities one by one..

The App Store has been draining my battery like crazy to the point where my phone would get really hot. I'd reinstall iOS and it would be a temporary fix just to find myself repeating the process over and over again. You have to manually close the App Store, open the App Store, hold the power button, when it asks if you want to turn the phone off then release the power button, and then hold the home button until the phone closes the App Store.

This method has fixed my battery/iPhone getting hot. Now if it happens again I'd just repeat the process vs reinstalling iOS.
