I hear you, on a serious note I wonder if this actually works and what it does.
Its easy to say hey we came up with a battery fix and join our site and give us $5 to try it.
Really?
Doesnt make sense to me but I hope Im wrong.

ya on his youtube video he keeps avoiding peoples questions, its strange

I really can't comment to much because I am not starting off on a 100% charge. However, I am noticing a slight difference.

I am using ISX pretty heavily and it would drain the battery. Probably 10% every 40 minutes. I've been texting a lot and using ISX with the battery fix, and the battery is not going down as fast. It's been about a half hour and it's gone down 4%

I haven't jailbroke yet, and my battery is awful. I took my phone off the charger, used twitter for 10 min this morning and was down 10 percent, then a phone call, 4 more gone, few texts (non iMessage) and down below 80.

I want to jailbreak but I can def see my battery getting worse with more tweaks and apps, I'll be using my phone constantly...

I sorta wish my iphone 4s not running 5.0+, like my old iphone 4 lol...almost wish i didn't sell it, almost.

Prob gonna jailbreak tomorrow after work.

I bit the bullet. If only so I can post my findings.

If it works... awesome. I'm constantly texting, browsing, etc, and my phone gets dangerously low. I know I'm using it a lot but if I can extend it... awesome.

If it does then at least I can post back on it.

Still think its shady he doesn't give any info how or what it does to improve the battery, and is requiring you to pay for his 'magical app'

Seems like fools gold.

We'll see. The forum has positive things to say.

Honestly being able to put the "does it or doesn't it" to rest is worth a test. Mainly because I work 12hr shifts and constantly am using my phone to text, etc, the wife.

Well first it's going public this week.
2nd it's that you have to be a VIP member on InsanelyI, not specifically the app itself.

We'll see. The forum has positive things to say.

I am remaining cautiously optimistic...lol

True, if it sounds like a scam and feels like a scam;)
I would gladly donate or purchase a package that actually does fix the battery issue and $5 is nothing. As long as it actually does fix it and they tell you we fixed this and that issue over there where it could cause battery leaks.
But to come out with something like this and require you to join a site and register your UDID sounds very fishy.
Im sure they will rack in plenty of cash and desperate and hopefull people will pay and feel they got a few extra minutes of usage per day.
Untill it gets out and people disect and see what that particular package does. Its only a matter of time.

Ummm, isn't this the same repo that is loaded with cracked apps from hardworking cydia devs? So exactly what have they done that's great for the community? Honestly, giving them a taste of their own medicine would be someone posting the .deb to this file.

I had never even heard of the repo, but when I added their repo, it did say that it had been reported for that type of behavior.

Just installed it. Just as cautiously optimistic as the above mentions, but I use my phone enough at work (12hr shifts) it's worth being a Guinea Pig to test it for everyone.

At 98% charge right now so threw it on the charger to hit 100%. Once I do I'll remove it, and post a few updates throughout the night.

If it works then awesome. The free public repo release is coming this week I guess.

If it doesn't then at least other members won't have to worry about "is it worth it" and hand over anything.

I'll update once I take it off the charger.

** NOTE: Just hit 100% so going to take it off the charger in a few mins at 11pm local time (MST) so my usage starts on an even hour to make reporting feedback easier.

I just find it odd that this "dev" releases it on a repo that really is more about piracy than really something like a personal repo or even BigBoss that would really help people.

If anything, this just reinforces the bad rep jailbreaking seems to have gotten over time. Yes if this does work, that's awesome, but it's location kinda ruins that.

My two cents anyways.

Oh, and I think this is a scam, simply feeding off the desperation of 4S users with poor or sub-average battery life. :\

i have installed two let's see what happeng i have about 6 hours if battery life let's see that this tweek improves about 8 hours

I'd like to see the diagnostic screen that was in the video, but too small to be legible. Post some screen shots if you can. Thx.

On another topic: I suspect the UDID # is used to prevent piracy. Oh the irony.

Apparently the fix will be made available for free in a week, so stay tuned if you don't want to give up your UDID and $5.

what is the reasonability starting point??

How can you really tell if your battery life has changed. I think we will see alot of placebo effects.... More importantly anyone who is testing should gauge battery life with the least amount of jailborken apps to ensure some level or reasonability.

Well I started off with a 100% charge at 11AM. I have been using Intelliscreen heavily as well as texting. Also been going in and out of Cydia. It's now 12:46 P.M. and my battery life is at 86%
