what is the name of the app in cydia?

Don't bother, it looks as though its a fake.....there is another fix people are trying that has to do with editing a plist....im gonna keep my eyes on that and see how that goes....

Yeah,
I can't say much one way or another.

Here's a screenshot when I hit 1% this morning. One thing to note, which doubt it matters, is that this is during my "full drain" period after installing the tweak. In the interest of being fair I'll at least give it a "charge up fully after full drain and try again" just as a courtesy.

I agree with what most are saying. From a non-technical point of view it does seem to improve my "day to day" side, but I honestly haven't been scrutinizing it so I can't say one way or another.

Either way I didn't, and don't, mind being the guinea pig to know one way or another. Better me than someone who barely has a few bucks to their name right now possibly fushing away a few bucks.

With the screenshot:
- Took it off the charge before work. Used it for normal use such as a few phone calls, bunch of texts, tons of data usage (facebook, web, and tons of streaming Pandora/Stitcher, few rounds of some games). Made it data heavy to make sure I killed the battery before I left work so I could full charge it at home when I crashed.

I actually paid for it and noticed zero difference. Test by doing exactly the same thing two days in a row on my commute to work without and with it installed. Almost exact same amount of battery left when I got to work. Save your time and money.

Maybe it's just me, but the battery life has improved, a lot, since installing this thing, for standby at least.

Leaving the phone over night consumed only 2% (7 hours with 3G/wifi/bt on), used to be at least 10% before the patch.

that' s because you re-calibrated the battery, nothing else... ;)

Honestly guys, I'm seeing some very improved usage from this tweak. Don't be so fast to write it off....

The "xsellize" one is NOT working.

Good info. If the "app" is a script that relies on Erica's Utilities, does this mean that uninstalling it from Cydia won't undo the changes it made to the plist?

Does anyone know the answer to this...i get kinda anal about this stuff and would want everything back to what it was originally. I guess we could SSH and look into the file and compare it to the original, yes?

Maybe that was confusing, but can't we look at the original in this article http://www.bingner.com/batteryfix.html and compare it to what on our phones. And if there are any differences we can just change them back. Right?

After using this for a few days, after a deep battery cycle, after a restore and a battery cycle.. It's made no difference for me. Even though this is my replacement iPhone (took 1st back because of the battery), I can't even get through the day without it dieng on me. Not even using it much either, and as well the usage and standby keep changing to '-' not sure why... I know the usage is very high though every day, not sure why...

Restored, not jailbreaking again. Seeing how battery is and got my genius appointment tomorrow, want another phone.. Wish I bought the iPhone 4.

Regarding battery drain after a restore from backup...

I've previously encountered situations where the iPhone would get quite warm while in the sleep state and the battery would rapidly deplete. What I found that helps, is after restore from iTunes backup, delete all the mail accounts from the phone, then set them up from scratch in Settings on the phone. YMMV.

It was proven to be fake. Idownloadblog mentioned the tweak is just lines of useless code that do anything.

One question....why would ANYONE go to as much trouble as this dev has, just to fake people? He didn't. I have had positive results thus far with the tweak installed.
