I have zero concerns about battery life.

I'll primarily be using the watch as a, er, watch.

I'll no doubt find notifications useful, and the ability to control my iPhone's music and podcasts. I don't anticipate using other apps. I have an iPhone for that. The benefit of the watch is when I'm outside walking around and don't want to get my iPhone out.

If the battery lasted longer I might not get into a good charging routine and it might actually run out more often. Charging it every night is simple and automatic, just like I do my iPhone and my MacBook. It's really not a big deal.

I'm surprised none of the people claiming the battery life to be horrendous has come in here yet.
 
It's really interesting how it charges up to 80% in just 1.5 hours.
