Kewel a Percentage Meter next to the Battery, what will they think of next...
I am surprised someone hasn't created some sort of program that makes the icons really fancy and does this kind of thing, is there a way to change the look of an icon without jailbreaking it? I do not think so, but maybe I missed something.

I'm hoping if you jailbreak your iphone 3g with 3.0, it'll give you the option to turn on the battery percentage. If so, I'll jailbreak just for that...
If you want the battery meter just jailbreak the Iphone, Install SBSettings, and turn it on. There are also alot of other things you can turn on as well. Numeric WiFi, GSM, Status bar date, Free Mem, Apple Killswitch. As for recording, you could always use Iphone Video Recorder instead of cycorder. But I see no reason to upgrade my phone just yet. Does everything I need it to do.
