Tried searching about batteries but I only get an error message.

Have v1 iPhone hacked to T-Mobile (no ATT where I live).

Got the iPhone in April 2008 (refurb from ATT in New Hampshire - 8gb). Phone has been a winner even after no less than 3 three foot drops - Seido case) but now the battery is giving out.

When I send it to Apple for battery replacement, what will I get back in terms of my info and the hack to T-Mobile?

Thanks for any civil answer 😱

if you still have applecare you can call them up and have them send you the lable/box to send it in. but remember to restore the phone before sending it in

Check with a 3rd party repair service, if you are out of warranty. It would be tough to get Apple to work on it if it's JB/UL and it would be tough to return it to factory specs on AT&T's network.....🙁

Thanks for the advice. I think I'll try a third party. Any recommendations for 3rd party battery replacements or is that allowed?

Thanks

Can't he just restore it and send it to apple? And then once he gets it back, jailbreak and unlock it again?
