It would be interesting, (and much more useful), if people could give an estimate of how much screen on time they had.

On my 6, I'll get 6hrs absolute tops of screen on time.

I'll be mainly using safari during this time + but also using FB, Twitter, messaging, and stream some TV / spotify for 1hr of this time.

It's quite difficult to estimate that. But every time I saw someone showing music in his statistics, I know that the screen on time was probably lower than actual usage.

You basically disabled every cool functionality of your phone ..... for nothing.
The only reason you haven't stellar battery life is the signal strength.
Still you have a good usage time.

I disabled the things I have no use for at the moment lol. I never use those features anyway. Hopefully when I go to school my battery can last longer

Here's what I typically get with my iPhone 6's. (3rd replacement but that's another story!) This is all onscreen time too and mixed lte/wifi usage. Mostly on wifi and I usually have a pretty strong lte signal. My brightness is usually below 50% so thats helping too but I get at least 2 hours more of usage than my 5! Easily make it through the day. I'm usually at about 8 hrs on screen time by time it's dead. Very happy!

I thought the battery life on my iPhone 6 was good but the 6 plus is ridiculously good... almost freakishly good...

Jailbroken on 8.1.2 with location services, air drop and background refresh disabled.

That is crazy good battery life without music/audio. Probably the best we've seen in this thread. Awesome!

That's pretty good. I did an experiment yesterday and got 6hrs 45 of usage. This was almost all screen on time. I'm a bit jealous that you seem to get an extra hour out of your 6. Although looking thru the stats it seems as tho spotify streaming seems to eat up a disproportionate amount of juice.

I was using a combination of wifi and 3G. Auto brightness on (usually around 45%). Background refresh on for 4 apps.

Having said that I've no idea how Apple think you can get 10hrs of 3G/LTE browsing. Maybe, just maybe possible with brightness turned right down, and everything else turned off and you don't move between cells.

Anyone else experiencing a lot of usage overnight? My iPhone 6 lost 12% overnight last night and there is no reason why. I do not have anything running in the background. My phone was connected to wifi and do not disturb was on. I received 4 iMessages. My usage stated 1 Hour, 45 minutes but I hadn't been on the phone. This seems to happen every night.

I don't have any recent screenshots, but I can consistently go from waking up and unplugging to going to bed and plugging in with between 15% and 20% left, after usually around 16 hours. Daily usage includes at least an hour of video streaming, Spotify streaming, some brief periods of light games (Crossy Roads lately), and some other general usage things. All of this is 100% on LTE, averaging 2 bars of T-Mobile LTE throughout the day. My 5 and 5s would never come remotely close to this.

Not quite sure how everyone with 6's has such impressive battery life. What should I do about mine? It's really starting to get bad. (Not quite sure why the picture is so large, but it definitely gets the point across)

What's your brightness like? For me, that kills the battery the most. Mine's usually at around 35% throughout the day.

Mine's always below halfway. It's very weird how quickly it dies. Sometimes, like right now, the screens off and I have bluetooth playing music, but it still dies very rapidly.

Should I even bother Apple about this?

There's a 99% chance that Apple will just tell you to restore. If you have time, you can still take it in so that they can take a look at the battery logs before they're removed from a restore. I'd personally just restore anyway, without restoring a backup, and see if anything is different.

I somehow have he feeling that my battery drains faster when I'm under 50%.

I know that battery drain is not constant, but I woke up today with 50% and had to recharge at 8pm. Yesterday I came home from evening school at 10pm and still hat 60% left with exactly the same usage on both days. Even a little bit less usage on the second day.

My iPhone 6 also dropped from 54 to 50% overnight. Strange.

This is the best usage I have ever gotten.

Would be useful if all apps had the option for location services to be only when the app is on. Some are always on or never

I didn't charge since lunch at work. It's been on 4G LTE the entire time until just now when I got home. Battery life is better than I expected even with some usage. iPhone 6 here. I would love to get the 6+ batterylife but... I told myself no phone bigger than the Nexus 5.

You browse the web quite a lot....

Considering that my battery still drains overnight for whatever reason, this is amazing battery life for my iPhone 6. I can get used to this

Since AT&T has allowed VoLTE should that impact battery life? I too have also noticed that I am dropping battery at night while the phone is sitting idle.

Also, a lot of yall are going days without charging cause you're not really doing anything on the phone.

Hmm now that you bring it up, it could be that BUT I have my data off overnight. The option for "Enable LTE" is still set as voice only though (see image below). I'll have to turn it off and see what happens
