The biplane is extremely maneuverable, I (correction, "we") can fly it in our front yard, dodging the cars, trees and bushes. If you want lots of room, the infield on a baseball diamond would be more than adequate. Because they're made of foam, they are extremely rugged. As far as RC helicopters, I've bought a couple Air Hogs Reflex choppers (one as a gift), around $60 apiece. Not as much fun as the plane, in my opinion. But then I haven't tried amusing the kittens yet.
