Beats Fit Pros are a vastly superior form factor to Airpod Pros.

I'd rather have Beats Fit Pros with an H1 chip than Airpod Pros 2 with an H2 chip.

None of the H2 features are even slightly as useful as my buds actually staying inside my ears when I run.

If Apple wants to keep Beats a generation behind, then fine - I simply won't 'upgrade'.
Agree. I have a pair of 1st gen Airpod Pros but they just stay at work on my desk. I’m not buying the 2nd gen but I will buy these volt yellow to go with the white and black pairs of BFP I’ve already owened. (Black pair wore out after using daily for over a year, so I bought the white last time on sale).

I tried the Beats. They wouldn't stay in my ear and sound was terrible. The AirPods Pro are so much better in every regard. I've dropped my APP a few times and the pods didn't come out of the case.

It's been almost 9 years and I still keep forgetting Apple owns Beats so my first instinct when I see these is to think they are knockoff AirPods.

Could you be more subjective? Even the regular AirPods never leave my ears when I run, or play basketball. The Pro's are obviously even better. If the shape of your ear doesn't work well with the Air Pods shape, don't assume that is the case for everyone.

It's more common than you might think though...

Beats Studio Pro replaced AirPods Pro for until the new generation came out. If they managed to get the same driver, features like volume controls and better NC, then I'll be switching back. This form factor is so secure.

I have both APP (1st gen) and BFP and I use the APP for phone calls and meetings but BFP for music and exercise. The Beats seem to connect more reliably and more quickly, and have a much fuller/louder sound with way better bass response. Goes without saying the BFP also stay in-ear better when in motion.

APP only advantage is when it comes to uplink audio quality for phone calls/meetings.

Not at all, I'm sure it is, as people's ears differ. For instance, the original iPod headphones fit my ears PERFECTLY. The second generation of iPod headphones wouldn't stay in my ears if a paid them. Then finally, the last edition, which also became the non-pro AirPods — fit my ears almost as well as the first.

So no, I completely understand that nothing is unified, but especially when it comes to AirPods Pro, which have different sized attachment, I would imagine they work pretty well for the vast majority. Obviously the beats attach to the back of the ear, so they do stay on better, but that also makes them larger and more annoying to the feel(I imagine — never had them).

As much as I like the Beats Fit Pro's, they've popped out of my ears too many times for me to feel compfortabe wearing them while exercising or walking around. I haven't had the same problem with the Powerbeats Pro's. But how many more years to be have to wait for an upgrade?

For me, the BFP fit better than AP or APP. Even the APP would not stay in my ears during a run, the Beats need a slight adjustment from time to time. They are also a tad more comfortable so I can keep them in longer. Still have AirPod Pros for general listening, but when it's time to get active, the Beats are my go to.

I really like my Beats Fit Pro, but I recently realized the wings are starting to tear/peel back a little bit at the top.

It seems like other folks have had this happen. Mine aren't under the 1st-year warranty any more, does anybody know if Apple is doing anything about this? Dare I say it kind of seems like a defect? I'm hardly abusing them, although they do get a lot of regular wear, and some sweat.

Did I see that someone mentioned super-gluing them back into place? Anything to be wary of?

Seems like it’s a pretty common issue/defect. I put a drop of super glue on a paper towel, dipped a toothpick in it, and rubbed it on the outside while holding it together. Not much residue and has held well. Not ideal, but hope that helps!

I sold my AirPods Pro gen1 for these and after 6months only the water resistance being official helps me. having tiny ears these flip out from the back just as easily as the AirPods Pro's would from any angle since the wingtips don't aggressively stay in my ear loops.

Waiting for this as well. There is just nothing comparable to the PBPs for running. Never have to be concerned about them popping out and super easy to adjust volume while running with the little switch.

For me, it was the other way around. The APP wouldn't stay put with any of the tip sizes.

And since I use them for exercising, I don't care that much about sound quality.

Good to have options for everyone
