My Wife would still find a way to bend the end of the connector and have bare wires exposed within 6 months while all the while insisting that she doesn't treat her cables like crap.

My entire family. Cables, chargers … chipped, cut, frayed, bent … all within a few months. The only thing they look after is the main hardware.

I had similar issues with lightning cables, but only Apple brand. My 30 pin connector cables were absolutely fine, my 3rd party lightning cables were fine, when I switched to Android my micro usb and then usb c cables were fine.

That’s what I’ve been saying… only Apple cables. My Anker cables still look brand new.
