One day away from their official launch, new information is beginning to come out about the BeatsX Earphones thanks to a couple of hands-on videos and reviews that have been posted online. In Jonathan Morrison's newest video, titled BeatsX Wireless vs Apple AirPods, the YouTuber has discovered that all purchases of BeatsX come with a code for three free months of Apple Music, akin to users getting another free trial period of Apple's streaming music service.

To get the three months of free Apple Music, all users will have to do is register their new BeatsX Earphones on the official Beats By Dre website and enter the code that comes in the box.

In the video, Morrison also discusses what he likes about the time he's spent with BeatsX, including the ease of connectivity with the W1 chip and iCloud connectivity. The biggest advantage over the AirPods, according to Morrison, is the in-line remote control on BeatsX, which provide tangible buttons for volume and playback. On AirPods, users have to invoke Siri or use an iPhone or Apple Watch for these controls.

A few other unboxing and impressions videos were posted today, including one with a closer look at the traveling case included in the box posted by YouTube channel UrAvgConsumer. The video also takes a look at comparing BeatsX to other earphones with similar neck straps, as well as putting the new earphones to the test in terms of audio quality by listening to a variety of different genres.

With a launch tomorrow, interested users don't have to wait much longer to get their hands on BeatsX. The earphones will launch for $149.95 on Apple.com, in Apple retail stores, as well as at other retailers.

Does anyone have an indication of what time these will be released tomorrow? I've been waiting to purchase these since they were announced, and I'd like to put my order in as quickly as possible to avoid absurd shipping estimates. I'm willing to wake up at 3am (midnight PST) :D

I usually hate these extra promo stuff. Usually they would say, "credit card requires." That's when they pimp you like it's 1999.

The reviews were very informative. I'm a bit disappointed at how neck-band the BeatsX look. I hate the neck-band wireless earphones, and I was really hoping the BeatsX would more like the jaybirds with a more natural way they sit. But from these vidoes, even though that middle part is flexible, it still looks stiff enough to give them that neck-band look.

I'm assuming this still works, but I got the Powerbeats 3 and it also came with a 3 month trial for Apple Music. When I redeemed it in the store it asked if I wanted to use the credit towards 3 months of Apple Music or just $29.xx in iTunes credit to use on anything in the iTunes store. So if you have no interest in Apple Music, it's basically a free $30 iTunes gift card.

How do these work with AW? Airpods allow you to pick up a call via AW with the "AirPods button" instead of the green one.

I literally just got a pair on Powerbeats3 in the mail and they came with this as well. It actually just sends you a $30 iTunes giftcard! Pretty sweet actually

I mentioned this in another thread but I'm so disappointed with how long the wire on these wireless headphones is.

Looking at pictures from the Beats website (and these YouTube videos) of people wearing them they hang down the side of their face and then loop back onto their shoulders. So much wire! Due to the neckband creation it doesn't seem there's any way to bundle it at the back of your head in the way the Powebeats3 can.

I'm gutted as the AirPods didn't stay in my ears at all. The Powerbeats 3 would fit into being used for my workouts but I feel look to bulky for everyday use (plus they use micro USB to charge, what the hell Apple?). I was hoping the BeatsX would be the perfect middle ground for workouts and everyday use, but that super long wire puts me off....
:(

I might have to look into another brand of wireless headphones but really wanted the W1 chip, the convenience of lightning cable charging, and quick charging.

Might still give it a purchase; hopefully the looooong wire won't be as bad in actual use.

Granted, they were ordered through Verizon, but I feel like I should be owed three months of Apple Music for the fact my AirPods ordered in mid-December which later turned out to NOT be in stock after all STILL have yet to ship.

They are already in the German store but currently unavailable and you cannot order them..

Sorry my post was poorly written, they are on the store but unavailable. And it is 9am and still unavailable! Oh why Apple?!
[doublepost=1486678669][/doublepost]I have had Apple Music since it came out and have paid for about three months. They keep giving it away (especially if your are on a Telstra plan)!

Dude just put some foam ear pads on the airpods and they'll stay just fine. Trust me
