I think it's great MTV decided to bring back Beavis and Butthead back!

I'm watching it right now :)

Hate that show. Can't imagine why they would bring it back.

    Huh huh huh huh

    FIRE!!! FIRE!!! FIRE!!!

I hope they let Beavis say Fire! this time. :)

I do have to say that show seemed a lot funnier when I was watching it in college. Maybe it was the various mood-altering entertainment I enjoyed. :D

What MTV should have brought back was music videos.

EXACTLY! I mean what did MTV originally stand for? I'm pretty sure it was Music TV, not Miscellaneous TV

Never seen it. I would love to see MTV bring Daria back, though.

If this is true, I might actually turn on MTV for the first time since the 90's.

I only sort of liked it when it was on originally. I remember liking the first season but the novelty wore of quickly afterwards.

I thought "meh" when I heard it was coming back, until I saw some of the preview stuff and thought it looked surprisingly hilarious (at least when they are poking fun at the "reality" TV shows they now watch in place of music videos). It's on my DVR right now, hope that I will have time to watch it this weekend, and hoping that I dig it.

I'm sure the mood-altering substances made a difference.

I don't know how old you are now, but you will find that a lot of things you thought were funny, or important, will change with time. You may find that when you look back (very fondly in some cases, less so with others), you will see many things in a different light. ;) :D

Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeee they are back. Just seen the first episode of this millennium's season! It's really cool that they kept their style and everything. Even the environment. Girls wearing simple shirts. No costumes!

What a coincidence thinking of them and switching to the board and noticing this thread instantly! In terms of radio, does anyone listen to 98.5 KLUC solely as well?? :D I'm glad that my proxy works since streaming it from Radio.com in Europe is officially forbidden.

Hmm Steve is gone and B&B are back? At least a small comfort!!

    ----

WTF I also notice that always the same people response to those threads even to the "crazy" threads I've created!!! Quiet interesting to see the diffusing opinions. It's all matching! Even though I don't belong to the B&B generation (the time the first episodes had been released I wasn't born) they attracted me so hard that I watched them for years all night long I was so addicted in school I copied Beavis all the time and suddenly my English knowledge experienced a fast turnaround! Fantastic!
