I think he can make one last world cup too. He is at is best when he is doubted and wants to proove everybody wrong.

I think it is his destiny to help England to the win the next world cup, I really do.

His life is like one big corny script which would seem unbelievable if you read it. But look at how he has gone to the deepest depths but come out stronger and on top.

Agree if they have jokers like the last manager they won't qualify but Jose Mourino is the man and apparently he has hinted he would love to be offered the job.

With him in charge England (well any team if you look at his record) will be unstoppable and finally live up to their massive potential.

He apparently has a dossier put together already about the changes he'd make to the national set-up if he gets the job, from the grass roots upwards. I'd disagree that England would simply become an unstoppable force if he took charge, what English football needs are significant changes in the long term not just a short term fix caused by a new (albeit very talented) manager. I've complained about the problems we have nurturing young talent in this country in a couple of other threads so I won't go taking this one any further off topic with another rant, though. ;)

Of course, Beckham's international future depends on who the new manager is and whether he thinks the player can add anything to his side. I've heard it said that the new gaffer will be encouraged to at least allow him to gain his 100th cap, as it would be good publicity for the England team and might get some supporters back on side. We'll see what part Beckham has to play.

Good points, they do need a wholesale change from the ground up but I really hope JM takes the job. When you look at the last world cup which was so so mediocre and won by a pretty average Italy (Italy ARE good, no doubt, but they were simply the least wost team this time.)

Honestly, with the talent England had in that squad, Gerrard, Lampard, Rooney, Crouch, Owen, Beckham, Ferdinand they should have walked it quite easily. If any cup was England's for the taking it was that one.

JM won't squander talent like that.

PLEASE JOSE SAY YES WE NEED YOU.
