Initially you were talking about cancer, hence my non ionising reference. I don't say non ionising radiation cannot be harmful, I say it doesn't cause cancer.
This device probably emits very little radiation, perhaps you can get same amount of radiation by talking on iPhone for few minutes.
Though I still wouldn't stick something on my forehead as I sleep, seems uncomfortable.

But non ionizing radiation can cause cancer or worse.

Humans are really good at adapting. You'll probably not even think about it after a while.

Most cellphone owners carry their phones on their bodies - for example, in a pocket - all day long, much longer than they spend sleeping. Perhaps you don't, but you would be an exception.

So, I am considering buying this.

Does anyone have it on good authority whether this device actually works or not?

Since this is being sold in Apple stores & was acquired by Apple ,you should be good.

No, BEDDIT was acquired by Apple. I am looking at BEDDR (the subject of this thread)

Actually looking at both to see which would be better at discovering sleep apnea.

    Thanks for answering, though.
