Nine Inch Nails!

I am going to NINE INCH NAILS w/ my brother on 9/3/08 in Utah. It's his birthday that day, so it's my present to him. Also saw them in '05 for the With Teeth tour. Very stoked!

The outdoor amphitheater here in beautiful Bend, Oregon is right on the river. Just outside the gates you can hear and see the concerts for free, a couple hundred yards away. I saw, in the last couple weeks: Wilco, Beck, and just thursday, Sheryl Crow (ho-hum on the Crow...but it was free! She'd just arrived after playing at the Democratic National Convention earlier in the day).

With the lovely nectar of Pac NW craft beers in hand, nothing beats the Hi Life!

Sadly, no.

BUT, here's what I have coming up:
August Burns Red: Oct 9 - The Station
August Burns Red: Oct 10 - The Palladium
Opeth/High On Fire: Sep 19 -The Palladium
In Flames/All That Remains: Dec 9 - The Palldium
Iced Earth/Into Eternity: Oct 15 The Palladium
Necrophagist: Sep 5 - The Palladium

Saw Judas Priest with Motorhead, Testament and Heaven and Hell. Pretty damn good concert. This was the first time I saw Judas Priest live and man they can put on a great show. Rob's voice sounded incredible.

Testament and Judas stole the show for me. This was the second time I have seen Heaven and Hell and I wasn't very impressed with them this time either....

I had pretty damn good seats too!!!

I am going to try and get tickets to see Iced Earth and also see Obituary. Both are playing in Hollywood!

Just got standing tickets for Slipknot,Machine head,Children Of Bodom in dec 07 (Birmingham,NIA) can't wait to see Machine Head again and Children Of Bodom. :D

That would have been a fun show… I saw Tré perform with Ozo at Sasquatch. I didn't realize Pharcyde was still touring together? Can't believe Mos was that bad. I love his new sounds, but I 've never seen him perform live.

Lately I've seen: TV on the Radio, Ra Ra Riot, Walter Meego, Ani D'Franco, and Milanese. All local shows… Sasquatch was my last road show.

Ozo in Nov. and NIN in Dec!

I want to see Machine Head... Love those guys. Very underrated in my opinion. They have put out some kick ass songs and albums.

if by lately you mean back in april, then yes, i saw kanye at the glow in the dark tour. pretty dang sweet

Austin City Limits.

I saw Fleet Foxes, Vampire Weekend, Jose Gonzalez, Jenny Lewis, M. Ward, Swell Season, Blues Traveler, Iron & Wine, and Band of Horses.

It was great.

Saw Sigur Ròs at Red Rocks Amphitheatre on 09/27/08. Brilliant show. Absolutely stunning!

Love Red Rocks… brilliant venue. I've seen Bjork, 311, and Medeski Martin and Wood there. Terrific shows! The Heaven and Hell bathrooms were a trip, or at least that's what a fun guy told me…

October looks promising… Cold War Kids this Wednesday! And the Black Angels should be a good show as well. :)

Duff-Man says...I saw Nick Cave in Denver last Friday. It was my 7th or 8th time seeing him so obviously I am a fan...but I have to say that this time he really sucked as far as I am concerned. His voice was shot, he was messing up the lyrics despite having a music stand with the words in front of him, and really the choice of songs just didn't impress me at all....very disappointing.

Then I got back to Albuquerque on Sunday and went to see David Byrne. I've never been a big fan of him (or Talking Heads) but don't dislike him either. well, I thoroughly enjoyed the show. Great sound, nice presentation. The new songs he played from the new Byrne/Eno album were fantastic, definitely the highlights of the night for me.

I'm off to Phoenix on Thursday for Peter Hammill, the to Santa Fe on Saturday for Devotchka....oh yeah!

I saw OPETH last month. They played the BIGTOP at lunar park sydney.

FU#KING BEAUTIFUL!! Great show love their work check em out.
