Saw the Carnival of Madness on saturday.

Was pretty Epic: Shinedown, Sevendust, 10 years, Puddle Of Mudd, and Chevelle

Tool 2 weeks ago (epic lights and video + they played most of my favorites), Aerosmith and Sammy Hager (w/ a drop in by Joe Satriani) on Friday, and the Jazz Mafia, Janelle Manet, and Neon Indian on Sunday.
Looking forward to Joanna Newsom and Outside Lands Music Festival in August.

Well Warped Tour was amazing. The weather was absolutely terrible. Sunny all day. Although the highlight of the day was Being front row for Four Year strong. Absolutely the best band there. Although I had to miss their last song because I was starting to feel hot and nauseous. Ended up missing 2 or 3 bands because I was still feeling sick. But I recovered.

I worked the Santana/Steve Winwind show in AC the other night. Great show.
Windwood's voice sounded just like it did 35 years ago.

I'm typing this on my IPad while loading in Tom Petty in Philly.

I get payed to watch shows...

My band and I opened for Maps & Atlases on Sunday.

We're huge fans of them. Meeting them was enough to put us in bright spirits! They put on the greatest show we've ever been to, though.

Gotta decide quickly if I want to see John Mayer or Paramore. They're both playing by me next week. Not really many artists I'm interested in seeing are going to be around New Jersey, but they are both really good artists even if they aren't my first choices.

cool, what kind of work you do?

Has no one been to any concerts lately?

I went to the Supersonic Festival last night, could only do one night of the three. I decided to go to the night Godflesh headlined.

I've been trying to go to this festival for a few years now and finally made it. I shall be going next year!

Saw some awesome bands:
Blue Sabbath Black Fiji - French pop/punk/noise
Eagle Twin - US doom , like OM but with a guitar rather than bass
Stinky Wizzleteat - UK doom/sludge
King Midas Sound - UK industrial dub
Gnaw - US doom (with Alan Dubin from Khanate, OLD)
and, of course, Godflesh

Oh, I forgot about the brief glimpse of Melt Banana, but I've seen them before, a one man act called Dosh and a vocal performance by Nic Bullen

then to a Dave Matthews Band concert on November 6th in philly.:D

im going to see them again on nov 10th in boston. saw them over the summer too. dave matthews band is the best live act on the planet, best show i've ever been to.

Big Bad Voodoo Daddy last night. Wonderful! These guys can play, and it was great to see just a band on stage, playing their hearts out, no special effects, no elaborate stage design, just the guys and their instruments. :D
