Returning, prefer my old setup, will charge with whatever case I use, takes up too much room on my desk too, and the watch coming on is annoying. $220 for no real gain except a higher stand for the phone. Not sold on the higher W charging either, phone gets hot. My Samsung leather 7.5w charger kept my 11 pro on 100% after 13 months.
Was worth a try.

Finally available in Canada! Ordered the black but man that was a tough call LOL. Talk about first world problems.

Those of you who have had it for a couple of months are you happy thus far? Did you choose the right colour?

I found this cheap alternative from tortux.. quite happy with it but here the watch can't be set in landscape orientation either.
anyone else has this one?

Better watch out. Some people here hate having to adjust / adapt and find even just the thought of this very inconvenient...
 
if you have a case on there´s less resistance so can pull it off easier.. then you don´t have to adjust :D

Just seeing this now ...

1 thing you can do is ... place the watch into theatre mode (would dim the display considerably) yet still allow you to see the time. Also change the watch face to something less colourful or bight ... more basic (?) that could help lower the brightness that would disturb your husbands sleep.

still loving mine but the watch simply does not stay in place upright so I have to put it upside down for it to not tip to one side. odd as sometimes it works but other times not.

nice to charge that 3rd device which is either my air pods pros or my SE as my work phone which normally needs charging every few days

I have the 44mm with a sport loop and I don’t have that problem.
Do you have the 40mm?

Is the phone still getting really hot while charging? Looks like jb is going to have them in stock soon, thinking if I should use my $100 voucher on the 3-1 🤔

Heat issue and watch turning on from slightly touching your desk is turning me off a bit. 🤔

Nah I don’t notice the phone getting hot. But I only charge overnight when I’m asleep so don’t know if it heats up. It feels normal when I take it off the charger in the morning.
My watch also doesn’t move or rotate 🤔

I just take my band off my watch when charging at night. Not only can I charge my watch and use nightstand mode but i also think it looks better than having the band on while using the dock.

Just picked mine up from the Apple store.

First thing that comes to mind is: Beautiful build quality!
It looks better in person (Like the 12 mini blue actually) and the steady platform and magsafe click of the 12 series ... most impressive.

Glad the cable is replaceable (should anything happen ~ kitten next 2 mths may sharpen teeth on it lol).
Not a fan of twist to remove the iPhone 12 mini from it but lifting from the bottom first or upward works.

The satechi 3-in-1 has gone back ... I’ll purchase a second 3-in-1 from Belkin.

PS: anyone else ‘feel’ some kind of micro-vibration when running a finger along the back of the metal stand?
 
Got mine yesterday as well. It's pretty sweet. I'm impressed. Pricey, but the quality is there.

They have them for pre order online now. Might get another one seeing as i am all in for magsafe now, frees up my watch charger, it's a good stand too, and if there is new airpods soon i will get the wireless version.
