I got the Belkin screen protector installed at Apple. Anyway, my phone took a fall and the screen protector shattered. Is taking it to the store the only way to get it replaced? Or will Belkin do it over the phone?

The belkin glass protector is terrible, I wasted 40$ on it and took it off my 11 Pro this past weekend, way too thick and distorts the sides of the display when viewed from an angle. It wasn’t installed perfectly flush at the Apple store either (I could tell by looking at the notch area)

the tech armor film screen protectors are far better and don’t break either so I’ll use that instead.

The whole point of having it installed by Apple is that, if its not perfect yuou can ask them to do it again.

Well, according to their standards it was "perfect" but it wasn't perfect based on my standards but this discussion is irrelevant at this point because i no longer use this glass protector anyway.

I bought a tempered glass at Best buy called Armor Edge.

I like it. It comes with one of those plastic foldable thingies to help you put it on with perfect alignment.

Best buy charged me $7.50 to put it on, but I felt that was worth it, being that if they mess it up while installing, they'll just open another one.

so I saw these recently and discovered they are Japanese glass! Similar to the Apple Belkin ones. Very interesting.

My Belkin Ultracurve that I had Apple apply in store shattered yesterday. Took a fall of about 8-12" in my car and was toast. Luckily I registered it at Belkin and they are sending me another in the mail for free. I just have to install this one myself unfortunately. But it does come with the easy installation tray. Getting free replacements makes the $50 price easier to handle!

It was toast due to a fall of 8 to 12 inches?

Yep. It fell out of my AC vent holder thing in my car, and bounced off the cup holder and onto the floor. It must have hit just right. I've been using Belkin protectors from Apple for many years and this is the first I've broken. I'm not looking forward to installing it myself though!

Unlucky fall. I'll only go with one's that have the tray. Makes it so much easier to install. Plenty of well documented techniques. Follow them and you should be fine.

I’m using Belkin glass screen protectors for all of my family iPhone (XR, 11 and 11 Pro). Very expensive (prices vary from 24 to 30€), but I’m happy about the precision and the quality of the product.
I don’t know about the warranty included to be honest 🧐
Do you know what is covered and what it isn’t ?

I had the original installed in store with the machine they use but the replacement does come with a tray. Hopefully it's pretty easy.

I made sure to register it when I bought it. Then I just chatted with them and they asked what happened. I said it fell out of my cradle and shattered. They sent me a new one with no further questions. I should have it later this week.

Does the ultra curve go edge to edge? Primarily I want to know if you can feel it when you do the swipe up from the bottom of the screen. Thanks.

it goes to the edge of the glass or very, very close. See my post in this other thread:
