It might be just me, but I find it distracting when participants are pixelated or blurry and their webcam audio is marginal at best.

But great when you’re trying to catch a nap in the middle of a long meeting. 😉

I actually tore this white magnet card out of an old otter box case after they sent me a warranty replacement. It would have been centered but center view feature aligns it automatically for the most part.

This on here is $24.99 and you can charge the phone while using it and use it on the MacBook or a monitor.

This one here is $15.99 and you can also charge but is MacBook only.

Every Mac display currently sold (standalone or on a laptop) has a camera, except the Pro Display XDR.

Ah, I knew it felt too good to be true. Shame on my for seconding guessing if it was the right time to update to Ventura.

It seems like a missed opportunity that this mount doesn't also charge the iPhone since it uses MagSafe.

My first 3D Printer, the AnkerMake M5, arrives this weekend. I'm going to use it to print a mount for my Intel iMac and design it to hold a MagSafe charger so my iPhone can stay charged during long Zoom meetings at work. I've tested it out and I like how I can dim and blur the background using the hardware and it looks much better than the Zoom filters. My skin tones look a lot better and my face doesn't change colors and brightness all the time when I'm doing something else on my Mac during a meeting.

Great that you can print your own! But if you want to save time you can actually buy holders like that super cheap on Amazon.

I think you also need to include the cost of the 3D printer too to make this a more fair comparison
