Hi...wanted to see if anyone knows for sure....Some people say the machine will only apply the "film" protector and not the Glass. The descriptions on the apple site for the two Belkin products say in store pro application on the Film one but no mention of that on the Glass one....But, there are videos on youtube of the glass one being applied with the machine...for iphones before the x. Anyone know for sure...I have ordered the Belkin InvisiGlass Ultra Screen Protection for iPhone X from Apple Store on line...I want to be able to go to a store and have them apply it with the machine.....but not sure if they can?

thanks

Also confused by this. Belkin’s own site mentions the pro application. Will reach out to support and hopefully get an answer by Friday

Just turn your shower on hot for 3 mins and close the bathroom door. Then turn it off, wait another five mins with the door closed, and then go in and close yourself inside and apply your protector. It pretty much completely cleans the air of particles, so you can have time to make it as straight as you need with no bubbles or dust.

And it costs....... ZIP

Has there been any word on if the Belkin glass protector will be edge to edge? I'm curious if it'll cover the whole screen.

Unfortunately not edge to edge. This picture illustrates the extent of the coverage

Does Belkin have a replacement warranty in the event the glass protector cracks down the road?

its your choice to make but in my opinion I wouldn’t spend 40 quids to get a Belkin screen protector, where you can get cheaper from amazon (spigen iPhone x screen protector two pack for £6.99)as long you have a prime account.

Save money and buy Apple care I know you guys need it

They do apply the glass screen protector in store with the machine. I brought my 6S to store for it.

Found this in relation to warranty. Also at £19.95 (not sure where 40 came from?) it’ll should add extra piece of mind. If the iPhone X uses the same glass as the iPhone 8 I’ve seen multiple sources suggest an issue with micro-scratches. It may be overkill but best to avoid any issues with cosmetic damage which I don’t think Apple care would cover?

Yes. They do it for the 7s as well but not sure if their installation machine is set up for the new X form factor. Will need to stop by the  store on Friday when my phone arrived to see.

The glass is $40. The $20 version is a film protector.

Just went to an Apple store that the website was reporting had some available for pickup today. Never received the ‘your order is ready for collection ’ email after 4 hours so decided to head down there anyway. Apparently the website is erroneously reporting stock and this product is not even released until Friday. What nonsense!
