just ordered the glow(green) and black. i usually go for a neutral looking case, but the green frame adds a nice touch of colour i think.

apparently the actual case doesn't have the logo in the corner and the back isn't really see-through as shown.

Oh wow these look really nice! Someone please post up pictures!

Edit hahaha im an idiot just say the pictures on the 2nd page. could you take some pictures of the back as well??

Hi thanks all for the info and pics!
Can someone say if this case can be used with bodyguardz pure glass (or similar screen protector)

How does this case fare in 'drop tests' either intentional or unintentional?

Also, I understand this is basically a rubber case so it won't slide around easily either in your hand or when placed onto a surface?

Third, I plan on getting a nice screen protector such as skinomi or tech armor. Will those screen protectors fit flush or overlap a bit with the lip of the case? Or, will a small area be left exposed between the screen protector and case lip?

I've survived drops from about 3-4 feet from the bed to a hardwood floor with zero damage. Also one drop from my car windshield onto the center console, and two drops from the car seat to the floor.

The grip is pretty good, but it is not rubbery. It is a satin TPU, so there is not THAT much grip. If you put it on a desk, you can slide it around easily with a light push.

It's almost the perfect case. If the button feedback was better, it would be THE perfect case.

I own the glow/black and the black version Verizon sells as well and I love them. They offer the right amount of protection and they offer plenty of protection on the sides and corners as well. Well worth the money!

i agree that if the buttons were better, it could be close to the perfect case. it doesn't add too much bulk to the phone and offers decent protection (although i haven't dropped my yet to vouch like others have)

I got the all black version. I really like this case because it has just enough a lip so I can put the phone face down. I also like the thin profile and the fact that it isn't difficult to take out of my pocket or collect dust/lint. I agree about the button feedback but I can live with that minor annoyance.

Nice.

I will get this case along with the tech armor HD screen protector. Will the screen protector + belkin case leave a gap between the screen protector and case lip?

Also, do I need a back case protector for my iphone 5?

I will plan on placing an order very soon.

I can't answer your first question as I have no experience with that screen protector, but I would guess it will work.

I haven't had any problems with the back getting scratched/pitted by dust and debris, and it has been something like 5 months with this case. I was surprised to not have gotten any scratches.

Even cases with soft silicone linings like the incipio dual pro will pit the phone, but I'm guessing it's because the incipio has a high coefficient fo friction whereas the belkin has a low one.

Thanks again. I am really astonished by the massive secondary market of screen and phone protection.

You would think the process relatively straightforward, but my research proves otherwise.

I think I will get the belkin, tech armor and a back protector and be set.

From my experience, the SGP ultra crystal screen protectors fit perfectly, leaving no gap between the screen protector and case lip.

Also, the case is such a close fit, that a back screen protector will make the case fit incorrectly.

Awesome info, thanks again for all of this great information!

The only thing I found that I don't like is that there is a small gap on either side of the headphone jack. If you look at the bottom of the phone with the case on you'll see that the round area is larger than bezel of the phone. I don't think dust will get past there but I feel like they could have accounted for it better.

EDIT:

Now that I think about it they probably made the area around the headphone jack that large to accommodate 3rd party headphones.

Has anyone noticed decreased LTE signal? I haven't that I can see but another poster mentioned it.

I have the green/black combo and it is awesome on my black iphone!! Will post up pics when I have the time!

I ordered one in blue from amazon. They sent me one in pink.

Amazon also sent me a used otterbox defender advertised as new.

Does anyone have a real picture of the dark blue and gray one (bottom row, most right) on the black iPhone?

I have that one but it's at home today, so I can't post a pic. I'd say it's more of a light grey to almost white with the blue. It's a nice looking case but you can't really see the black iPhone through the back of the case as Belkin depicts in their picture.

This is easily the best case I've used so far. Completely blows away the otterbox cases. Those look like they were designed by monkeys in comparison.

The belkin absolutely complements the esthetic and feel of the iphone 5. I'll write up a brief review later, but there's no point in doing any more comparison shopping. The belkin is the answer. Maybe not quite perfect, it is nonetheless such an outstanding case, that any minor criticisms one can brandish are far, far outweighed by the positives. Well worth $20.
