Just called Belkin and they said they don't have the clear one in stock yet. They told me to call back next week and see. I guess since it's not a high priority to me, I can just wait a little

are all the buttons easily accessible? or are they covered with some sort of rubber? id rather have all the buttons naked

The buttons are covered on the Vue case. I wish I would've seen that case before I ordered the Pixelskin HD the other day.

Damm it I want to just order it from ebay, but I wont be able to do much with my old clear one, once its replaced, since I dont have the receipt.
Maybe I will give it to a friend.

As long as they fix the flash issue, this may be my final case, unless the incase sliders turn out to be awesome, waiting for people to receive theirs so they can post reviews.

thanks! Im gonna wait a bit and see some more review. All the youtube videos are of the old ones, and i was seeing that they were having a hard time with the volume controls.
or likely i will end up buying this and just cutting the volume and sleep coverings out

Awesome to know. I have the clear one and it actually hurts my finger when I have to try to press down & hold the sleep/wake button in order to reboot. Other than that and the stupidly-designed flash cutout, I quite like the case.
Just got a call from belkin, they are sending me the new design grip vue in smoke to replace my clear case. Once I receive it, I have to return the defective case (turning yellow and flash issue)
Should have it in a few days, I will compare the two when I get it.

Just got my Belkin Black Pearl case as a replacement. After taking off the clear one, the clear case has definately turned yellow.
I got the clear case on launch day and every button was hard to press...the new black pearl is much easier to press and much more responsive. The camera cut is a bit bigger.
Overall much better than the first version.

Got my replacement today. Fits much better than the original! And the best part is that I have a gelaskin on the back, a crystal screen cover from PS on the front and on top of that I put the 2 front gelaskin pieces and with all this stuff on it, it still fits in the case without lifting the front crystal or gelaskin pieces! I'm tempted to see if the side pieces can also go on and still fit! The thing I don't like about the side pieces is that they don't wrap completely around the side of the phone (the top and bottom are still bare) That's part of the reason why I took them off (they didn't allow the phone to fit in the original grip vue).
Ordered an iskin to see how the 2 compare and then will decide which one I like better.

Just got my smoke replacement case as well. Just like others mentioned, its fits tighter around the phone. I love the smoke, but it could not come without a problem, that would of been too easy.
When I put the case on, its so tight fighting that the sleep/wake button is always being pressed down by the case. I cant press the button down to lock the phone. It will bring up the screen asking you to turn the phone off.
Now my phone has an SGP oleo on the front and a back screen protector, but that should not affect the downward force being exerted on the button.
I dont know what to do, should I try cutting out the button area? Anyone else experience this with the new case.

I just got mine today as well, in the black pearl version, and I have the EXACT same problem. I'm going to call them on Monday.

as I said above, working fine with my gelaskin on the back, the powersupport crystal on the front in addition to the gelaskin front pieces on top of the power support crystal. The bottom right edge started to pull up the gelaskin there but I used a business card to smooth it down under that corner edge and that seems to have helped solve that minor issue. No issue with the power button on my clear gripvue. I did notice a minor cosmetic issue on the side of the case but since everything else works fine and it took me a week to even notice it, I'm fine with that.
caralack, mine doesnt affect the front screen protector either, my sgp ole is perfect. But the issue with the top sleep/wake button is pretty bad.

Well I decided to fix the case myself, I used an exacto knife to cut out the case around the sleepwake button. It came out perfect.
But I just noticed another problem with the case. The case is so tight and form fitting on the phone, that it is causing my screen protector to bubble up on the bottom right corner.
With the front and back screen protectors on, the case fits really really tight. The old case didnt have this problem.
When I compare the two cases, the new one is actually smaller, so they shrunk it, not by much, but it is. I would say about 1mm.
Oh well, I guess im stuck with it since I cut the new case.

Sharp edges on redesign?
I got the original Grip Vue from Best Buy, but returned it immediately because of the button issues as well as a sharp edge that ran around the case, making it uncomfortable to hold.
Does the redesign fix the edge issue, or just the button/flash issue???

Honestly, the fit on mine is perfect with the redesign. All the buttons are VERY easy to press now, and I have a screen on the back and the front of the phone, and the case still fits good, with no lifting to the front screen. For me, my search for a case is over. The redesign is perfect for me.
