This looks like the sort of thing you put next to the bed in which case you've got 8 hours to charge and fast charging therefore has no benefit.

If it's a desk product then maybe it has a use if you really don't want to use any of the three products for 45 minutes during the day which I find highly unlikely, but the need to charge during the day is rarely necessary nowadays and it's exceedingly rare you have all three products that need charging at the same time.

Plus, you will still need other chargers if you travel or are you going to pack that to go to a hotel?

A three socket extension lead and the chargers we have already will suffice and $150 can be better spent elsewhere.

Very small market for this: it's not even something you are going to want to show off.

Looks ugly but priced appropriately. 3-1 have been $150 ish for long

Pfff I was hoping they would update their existing 3-1 stand with AW fast charging. I guess I'll pass on both...

It takes up about as much desk/table space as 3 separate pads. For $150 I’d expect a bit more innovation.

(Especially when I just got this extremely compact unit at Costco for $26

15W wireless for Phone, 5W wireless for AirPods, 20W USB-C at rear, power brick included)

Wireless charging: how to replace a £3 cable off ebay with £150 worth of tech that charges less efficiently, just so you don't have the massive inconvience of plugging in a simple any-way-up cable. ?

The magsafe puck for the phone looks elevated a little. I wonder if the iPhone 13 Pro with its massive camera bump will lay flat on this charger.
I thought it looked weird at first with the puck elevated but after some thought I think that's exactly why it's elevated. To avoid the issue with Apple's MagSafe Duo where the camera bump in a case doesn't let the phone set perfectly.

Me personally I wish the middle charge was also a MagSafe puck now that the AirPods are MagSafe compatable. Or to also allow a second phone to charge. I, unfortunately, have both a work phone as well as personal so a second MagSafe would have been convenient.

And yes, genuine MagSafe accessories continue to just be so expensive. That alone has deterred me from getting into the MagSafe ecosystem.

IMO waste of money when the next Watch will probably be incompatible again.

No kidding!

Apple can pat themselves on the back for being 'green' all they want, but when I found out that the reason why my Apple Watch 4 was trying to keep me awake by chiming all night was because it wasn't compatible with the older charger base, Apple charger base, I was pissed. So what do people do with all of their old cords and chargers? Suffer the often sleepless nights? Have to leave the watch charging in another room? Toss the old ones and buy new? Green my butt... And the degree of incompatibility is so slight, but creates issues with charging consistently. WHY?!? It seems like such a waste... An unforced error...

Unfortunately Belkin is one of those companies where marketing does everything. It's premium priced but the build quality is absolute garbage. I don't mind spending extra for a good product, but Belkin is just not a decent manufacturer.

We didn’t have the same experience, because I’ve always find Belkin to deliver one of the best build quality in third party manufacturers. The actual 3-in-1 magsafe charger is very well designed and feel nice. The price is steep for sure though.

I don't think I'm going to convince those of you who think it's too expensive, but when you consider that it has an actual magsafe puck for the phone (not just a magnet charger), fast charger dock for the watch and plain old wireless charger all in on unit... $150 isn't bad considering what these things are going for on their own.

I'm not saying magsafe stuff is cheap, but the bundle price is fair.

True, and it's also not for everyone. It looks really wide and I, for one, don't have enough room for it on my bedside table, and can't really see traveling with it because of the size of it, unless it folds up somehow.

Doesn't look like it folds at all.

Yeah definitely don't see it folding. I recently got to take my MagSafe Duo while traveling for the first time in ages... it was great! It's frustrating though that it doesn't quite fit right with the 13 Pro :(

I was wondering if it would fit a 12 in an Otterbox case. Oh, and I assume an AW4 will be happy on it in 'nightstand mode'?

It says $150 here, but I'll bet it gets discounted quite a bit. I don't know what Belkin's profit margins are, but I've never seen resellers charge anywhere near Belkin's list prices.

The AW4 should be fine, not sure about the Otter. You could always purchase from Apple direct (which is what I did). They are real good about returns if it doesn't work out.

Depends on what it is. I've paid retail for some of their cables. One in particular really stung too...
Yep agreed. I'm not really a Belkin fan but they seem to be the only company doing stuff like this with MagSafe.

The cable I bought was one that was somewhat about 9 inches, and it cost me as much as a 1m cable. And I could not find a better price anywhere. I was horrified at spending that much for a cable less than a third the cost of their 'full size' cable. It does work well for the reason I bought it, but spending that much on a 'shortie', was obnoxious. Rude even.

Belkin never seems to slash prices. I’d say it will be a while before they do, because if you look at some of the most popular accessories, it’s always charging devices that are the most expensive. Consumers want convenience, and they know they can charge this dollar amount, because they have the branding, ingenuity and quality.

Is this new 3-in-1 charger sized for the iPhone 13 Pro Max? My old contact charger has the Pro max tilted up because of the camera bump.

Seems a bit expensive but I like the idea of a more future proof design when I ultimately upgrade my Apple Watch. Are there any comparable alternatives out there that keep the flat style instead of the upright phone?
