I'll do a review on the incase when I get mine. I have skins on mine already and also a bumper, but wanted to try something diff.

I have a Belkin on my iPod and it has work well for a couple of yrs now.I currently have a ifrogz on my iPhone 4 and it is a good case. But I will order the Belkin just because I like to see the phone itself.

By the way I have dropped my iPod a few times and it rides on the handle bars of my bike and it keep playing. I suspect the case is indeed offering some decent protection.

Is back of the belkin case completely clear or it's is coloured and printed like iPhones back? There is also Belkin etched not the case at the back :-(

I called Belkin to ask this as well. He says it's clear and not opaque like the Vue (which I have).
Now, he didn't have one physically and had to ask around, but he said clear.
I honestly don't know how accurate his information is since he wasn't able to physically look at one for himself, but I thought I'd pass along the info.

I have finally given up and taken risk, ordered Belkin micra clear. But order is expected to ship on 20 Sept ..... gosh

I have one. It's clear and flexible with a smooth surface all around. There are holes in the bottom for the mic, speaker, and cable, one on the top for the jack and noise-cancelling mic, and one on the left side to expose the ring/vibe switch. The volume buttons and the sleep/wake button are covered by the plastic similar to the bumper, but with just the plastic instead of metal buttons on the case.

It covers the entire back of the phone, which is nice, but the only drawback is that the buttons that are covered by the plastic of the case are a little more difficult to push. My workaround for that was putting a thin piece of plastic that I cut to fit inside the case in the button coverings (6 layers of scotch tape work too) to go between the phone's button and the case, and now the buttons are just as easy to press as a naked phone.

I don't know that it would provide much protection from a significant drop since it's just flexible plastic, but it does a great job at protecting from small drops and scratches, especially if you pair it with an anti-glare cover on the face of the phone.

I bought the Belkin Shield Eclipse before the offer came out. I had Ghost Armour put on all sides of my phone for protection as well which looks great. BUT now that the Ghost Armour is on I cannot get it to fit into the case. Is the going to be an issue with all the cases? Or is there one I can get that will allow an iphone with a full body protection to fit inside?

So Apple's fulfillment app is giving out mis-information about the Belkin being a polycarbonate case? Nice.

I got my email from apple yesterday. It says my incase will ship on aug 27. Geez that's a long time.

yea well. the incase snap cases aren't even available til 8/16. i am for one waiting for reviews on the incase snap and possibly the belkin shield micra before choosing. i am assuming that the stock wont run out by then... i dont want a bumper :(

Belkin Shield is a lightweighted case and it is designed in such a way that one gets easily attracted to it. But if we see this case in aspect of protection then I don't think it would be worth enough to buy it because if once it will fell on rock or any hard material then this case will break soon.

"This ultra-thin hard case is lightweight and the streamlined design embraces your phone to slip easily into your pocket or purse."

saw this in the description of the micra clear case on the belkin website....i think its pretty self exclamatory whether its hard or not...

I'm getting mine soon. Got my shipped notification from Apple yesterday. It's leaving Chicago and coming to DC, so I'm hoping I get it either today or tomorrow. As soon as I get it, I will let everyone know how it is.

I don't understand why people say this is a flexible case. Belkin's website does not mention flexible anywhere. In fact it says "This ultra-thin hard case is lightweight and the streamlined design embraces your phone to slip easily into your pocket or purse".

Also judging from Belkin's website the volume keys are in fact covered. You can tell by looking at pictures of the purple one.

I got the Belkin Micra Clear two days ago after ordering the free case thru the app just a few hours after it was on the phone.

It IS polycarbonite - very light (13 grams) and small - it does hardly anything for you folks that like to put your phone on the table upside-down. The front lip is just above the level of the screen.

It slips into pockets very easily, it's almost slippery. I had a Iskin Solo on my 3G and this one is much sleeker and easier to slip in pocket.

It flexes to take it off. Slipping it on was very easy, starting on the left side by the buttons..

It adds very little bulk - I had a Spreck Candy Shell that already cracked at the too-small charger slot.

Hope this info is helpful!

Just got mine and the volume buttons are not covered. Neither is the vibe toggle switch above them.

Any pics??? i've ordered the belkin too, just waiting now.... any pics to keep me going for a little longer!? thanks!!

I just got mine in the mail today and I don't like it. I had already purchased the Switcheasy NUDE case which is almost EXACTLY the same as this case.

Here are the problems though.

I like the NUDE case more because it covers the top of the device, but I dislike it because it causes a ton of lint/dirt/etc to be trapped between the case and the iPhone leaving a very dirty look. Must be cleaned every couple of days if you want your phone to stay looking nice. The other problem with the NUDE case is that it doesn't sit flush with the front display on the iPhone. It latches on to the metal antenna and sits about a millimeter below the screen.

The Micra case sits flush with the front display but doesn't cover the bottom or top of the phone and has thicker sides around the band than the NUDE case. This doesn't seem like much since both cases are extremely thin but it makes a world of difference when trying to push the volume control buttons or toggle the vibrate switched. Using the buttons on the NUDE case is effortless but using them with the Micra case is frustrating to say the least.

My overall opinion:

Both cases make the iPhone 4 feel cheap. I have been using the Switcheasy NUDE case since I bought my iPhone 4 on launch day and the only reason I continue to use it is because I dropped my iPhone twice and the case took all the dents and scratches instead of my iPhone. The other benefit is that the NUDE comes with a lock connector plug that keeps pocket lint out of the port and a clear screen protector that I am using with absolutely no problems (except for fingerprints). But if I weren't so worried about dropping my phone I would just use no case at all.

Got mine today as well. I must say I am disappointed. The case already has scratches on it. All I did was put my iphone in the case and i left it on my couch. I also wiped it down with some memorex branded microfiber cloth and now there are a bunch of scratches on it. I expected more from belkin, but it feels no better than one of those cases you can get on ebay for like 5 for 99cent and 9.99 shipping from china.

As someone mentioned the buttons are NOT covered even though belkin's website clear shows it as being covered. Overall build quality is awful. I won't be using this guy for long. I'll take a look at the InCase Snap when they become available in stores, and a friend of mine didn't use his free case program so he ordered me a black bumper.

just installed the incase (snap) case for iphone 4 after sticking a screen protector from ifrogz and got bubbles all over the sides. Probably gonna remove the screen protector in a few days...
My sister bought a griffin case (flexible rubber sides) and the screen protector did not got bubbles.

Edit: Mine is the incase SLIDER for iphone 4, sorry for the mistake.

Just got my belkin micra. I was specifically looking for a case that would slide easily in and out of my pocket.
The only problem is that this case is too slippery. I had an old leather shell for my 3Gs that was perfect. The leather had worn enough that it came out of my pocket easily, but wouldn't slide off my leg. The micra is near perfect, ultra thin, clear so it shows off the back, but because it is too slick im afraid I'm going to have to go back to my ifrogz.

Silicone case - impossible to remove from pocket
Apple bumper - near impossible to remove
Ifrogz - frustrating to remove, but you won't be so angry as to throw your phone
Belkin micra - glides in and out

It's not the case's fault, the Incase Snap doesn't touch the front of the phone at all

I concur with icecrystal, I have the incase snap case clear and it doesn't touch the front of the screen...there is no way it should bubble any screen protector that is applied to the screen. I hope to have a review of the Incase snap case and the Incipio Feather case up at GearDiary any day now. When it is up, I'll post a link here, so you all can see the picts.

But the short and skinny of it is, I like both the Incase Snap Case and Incipio Feather case, because of their profile and design....they don't wrap around the screen and bubble my screen protectors..but I thought I'd like the clear case so that I could see more of Apple's design work, but it just showed more dust. I think I'd like the snap case better if I ordered the grey one, or if they had a black one. I really really love the Incipio Feather case. It feels sooooo good on the iPhone. It feels like Apple designed it to be a part of the iPhone.

Hopefully the full review will be up in a few days.

Hi everybody, I have been lurking this site for a while and have gotten a lot of helpful information here. Anyways I hate to say this but the Incase clear snap case is the worst iphone cases that I ever have even though I got it for free from Apple. The first thing that I noticed that this case out of the package got a lot of small scratches on the back if you look it thru the light. This case is a finger print and smudges magnet, and I don't know how many times my IP4 almost slip out of my hand due to it be a slippery case (may be my hand is a little more sweatier than normal especially during summer). I went back and use the Ifrogz Lean and put the Incase on Ebay for two times now and nobody even buy it now for $15 plus $5 shipping. I will probably will lower the price to $15 shipped. My advice to the OP is to stay away from this case, it is not even worth $10. Sorry for the rant.
