Ben Affleck as Batman?

It's the Batman franchise. I guess they feel they have to go through all the trendy actors at some point. Affleck will lack any charisma and then they'll move to the next actor.
I don't like the idea of a Superman/Batman movie.
I don't like the idea of Ben Affleck as the Batman.
Christian Bale was right to say no to this movie.
As far as I'm concerned, they may as well have cast this guy. He's probably do a better job too.

The issues with daredevil had little to do with Affleck or his acting.
If anything he was the best thing in that movie.
As far as Batman being a good guy I'd beg to differ a bit. He has always been an obsessive/compulsive dark character who dwells on the gruesome death of his parents and deep down inside needs to fight bad guys if only out of revenge for his parents death.
A Batman vs. Superman movie might work.

It seems this is only rumored at the moment with an expected announcement after Breaking Bad finishes up. It's definitely on the near 100% for sure side, but it's not been officially announced yet.
I am reminded of song lyrics that Weird Al Yankovic made on his Straight 'outta Lynwood CD a few years back.. Song called "I'll Sue Ya". Went something like this (and picture this being sung by someone like Zach De La Rocha from Rage Against the Machine):

Also, remember Wayne Enterprises (WayneCorp) is a power conglomerate. They make "all those wonderful toys" for Mr. Wayne.
As previously mentioned, Frank Miller's "The Dark Knight Returns" is a great read. Yeah, Batman's a moody SOB, yet he's smart. Superman is basically a super-jock.
I really hope the movie is unlike The Man of Steel - too melodramatic. Also, the lens flare THE LENS FLARE!

The real key to whether or not a movie will be good comes down to a good writer, producer and director. Personally I think the director is the most important as they can take the best written movie with an all star cast and turn it into something boring.
George Clooney and Val Kilmer are both solid actors. Still Batman Forever and Batman & Robin stunk. While Salton Sea and Burn After Reading were great.

I equate this to the hiring of Heath Ledger to play the Joker. Everybody was up in arms about it, but he ended up putting out a pretty solid performance.
I will wait and see.
I did not like MOS though. That movie was freaking horrible, so in that regards, I do not have a lot of hope for the movie in general.
