Here he shows how easy was to bend again the iphone 6+

He is stronger than normal but the iphone 6 + bends easily, maybe Apple could send him new phones before going public to test them

Please take care of your iphone 6 + because it bends easily

He cheated again in this video. He applied force as much as possible with a smile on his face.

Fact 1) The previous video was fake. Fake is fake.
Fact 2) He applied more than 100lb on the iPhone 6 plus in this video. Compare with the video "iPhone 6 Plus Bend Test by uBreakiFix". iPhone 6 plus is completely fine under 100lb.
Fact 3) He applied less than 100lb on the Galaxy note 3 in "iPhone 6 Plus Bend Test". Compare with the above video by uBreakiFix.
Fact 4) He applied less than 100lb on the Moto X in "iPhone 6 Bend Test + HTC One M8, Moto X, Others by Unbox Therapy".
Fact 5) Compare the Moto X in this video vs in the above video. He applied less than 100lb.
Fact 6) He applied more than 100lb on iPhone 6 plus but less than 100lb on Moto X in this video.

Why did he do that? He knew what would happen if he failed to bend the iPhone 6 plus. The video doesn't prove anything. It's just his another cash cow.

How do we know the iPhone in the video wasn't opened up and sabotaged?

Because the Unbox Therapy guys are pretty well respected. I mean you can choose to believe they did all sorts of things. But at the end of the day their reputation is on the line every time they put out a video. I just don't see anything that nefarious happening.

Call me a skeptic then. I don't believe it. Truth is, we're not going to have an independent lab inspect those bent phones he did will we? Until then, I stand by my skepticism.

Haha, he sure does take care to name-drop Moto X a surprising number of times in about 10 seconds. Dude's clearly sponsored by Moto X.

What does that have to do with him easily bending the phone? He merely showed the Moto X doesn't do it. Did you hear him say go out and buy a Moto X? Or even that Moto X is a better phone? I didn't. All he said about it is that it doesn't bend..

The ONLY thing he did wrong in this new video is he let the iPhone go off camera and out of view just before he bent it. He should have had the phone on camera entirely until after he bent it.

I don't have an opinion either way on this subject, but just pointing out the potential flaw in a video that is supposed to debunk the debunkers.

From some of the posts in response to the follow up video, I don't think it matters what he did or didn't do.

He made the second video to try to satisfy people who won't be satisfied regardless of his precautions.

First video doesn't matter and neither does this one. If you try to break something chances are it's going to break. The real issue is do they really bend because of being stored in pockets and every day activity.

where is all the proof? I've seen like 2 pictures of a phone that was bent, and the rest of people physically taking their phones and bending it.

So basically with the report by consumer reports proves there isn't a "bendgate."

And looking at this guys post history, he just sold his iPhone 5S for a Lumia and goes on to bash iOS.

Just goes to prove everyone has an agenda.

AFTER BEND

NOTICE THE PHONE DOESNT DISPLAY THE CARRIER OR BATTERY ANYMORE ALSO. THE DATES MATCH UP AND THE TIME STAMPS DO NO MATCH UP. THIS IS 100% FAKE.

Look at the top!! The notification center is pulled down a little bit, so it hides the service provider and battery percentage. Turn on your iPhone and on the lock screen, touch the top of the screen. The notification will come down a little bit. The reason it came down in the video was probably because of the bend

he was wearing glasses though! you could see the reflection

Haven't heard from you since the latest video was posted. Guess you're having some of this?

Sorry I don't obsessively check this thread. DUDE like dude bro if you didn't find the first video suspicious then you're the one drinking the kool aid. Nobody claims the phone can't be bent. He's obviously applying a tremendous amount of force and then claiming to actually not be putting much effort into bending it. In whey real world scenario do you see that amount of force being concentrated in a thumb sized portion of the weakest point of three phone? The video is pure sensationalism.

And in case you're still too drunk to understand, NOBODY is saying the phone can't be bent and won't be accidentally bent by some people. To claim it can be bent with minimal effort is a flat out lie.

It does so matter because the camera protrudes making it impossible to lie completely flat on a table.

Re-read my post. I said I made sure the protruding camera was just off the edge as to lie the phone complete flat other because the lip with the camera module was off the edge.

Hmmm, can't notice it too much at the moment. I'll try again in the morning when I'm fully awake.

No, I'm not going to rush and take pictures unless: 1. I find time and 2. I believe it's a pressing issue. Again, I have a feeling it's just the way I was holding it or something but there is definitely a way in the glass reflection and I saw light coming through when rested completely flat... Anyhow.

Oh, the warp on the glass is about one centimeter below the volume down key.

People are really starting to miss point here. Why would you want to bend your phone with unnecessary force? Even apple wont cover that.

I'm also guilty supporting this nonsence because i clicked that link

he has more to loose than gain by faking a bend video. I believe he can bend an iPhone 6 + exactly how he says he can. How long before a tv news crew get him on with an iPhone they bought and have him bend it live before their unbelieving eyes Uri Gella for the new century haha Speaking of Uri how long before he's trotted out to try and bend an iPhone :p I bet he's been calling them round the clock saying their bending it wrong ha

stop defending apple and go make videos of your iphone tests. If half you think it wont bend or its fake make your own.

How much money has been wasted in people just flat out bending phones?

People see how many hits this guy is getting so now everyone wants to make a video and try to profit off it.

You don't expect a phone to be indestructible, but for an expensive phone you expect it to be a bit more durable. It's obviously got some weak point in the structure where the volume keys are. I don't think this video is faked.

Two testing labs have tested the Plus and both have concluded that it takes between 70 and 100 lbs of force to bend it. Further, while it was less than some other phones, it wasn't out of line with them.

Bottom line: The likelihood that the phone will bend unintentionally and in non-abusive circumstances is minuscule, a fact that is apparently backed up by the low number of complaints to Apple.

So should a $200k car resist dents better than a $20k car?

The video may not be faked but how many times in your pocket are you going to have the force applied in one spot on a phone like his thumbs are. You aren't. The force will be across the whole phone and not a direct spot like where he places his thumbs.

What is there to to continue to go on about here?

The iPhone 6/6+ bend easier then the 5 as demonstrated by Consumer Reports. The 5 had quite a few reports of bending issue but as a whole wasn't a problem. The iPhone 6/6+ are bigger so this will exaggerate the issue when in a pocket.

So we will likely see more reports of bent iPhones. Which will still likely not be an issue.

What I don't understand is why it was only a problem with the 5 for a short while and no one really cared. Now it seems like a huge issue with a lot of media coverage.
