He cheated again in this video. He applied force as much as possible with a smile on his face.

Fact 1) The previous video was fake. Fake is fake.
Fact 2) He applied more than 100lb on the iPhone 6 plus in this video. Compare with the video "iPhone 6 Plus Bend Test by uBreakiFix". iPhone 6 plus is completely fine under 100lb.
Fact 3) He applied less than 100lb on the Galaxy note 3 in "iPhone 6 Plus Bend Test". Compare with the above video by uBreakiFix.
Fact 4) He applied less than 100lb on the Moto X in "iPhone 6 Bend Test + HTC One M8, Moto X, Others by Unbox Therapy".
Fact 5) Compare the Moto X in this video vs in the above video. He applied less than 100lb.
Fact 6) He applied more than 100lb on iPhone 6 plus but less than 100lb on Moto X in this video.

Why did he do that? He knew what would happen if he failed to bend the iPhone 6 plus. The video doesn't prove anything. It's just his another cash cow.

He's done, don't click on his videos boycott loutroll

Yes, yes, and the way to get back at him is to link to his video like...5 times for people to view. Good going bro.

I don't know if you're trolling or you really believe your own drivel, perhaps a few smacks with an iron gauntlet will do you well

So should a $200k car resist dents better than a $20k car?

The video may not be faked but how many times in your pocket are you going to have the force applied in one spot on a phone like his thumbs are. You aren't. The force will be across the whole phone and not a direct spot like where he places his thumbs.

We're talking about a phone, not a car. It is inevitable with a car, that if you crash into something with force, metal will not come off very well. You wouldn't expect an expensive car not to dent.

Yes that person in the video is applying a lot of force to one specific area, so normally you wouldn't be doing that. The pressure would be distributed. But what about that guy on here whose story got picked up by all those news sites. He had it in a pocket, and it wasn't tight. So why did his phone bend?

all that fancy equipment to test bending yet giving it to a human shows it can bend in hands.

Yes, but the iPhone 6 plus wasn't the weakest, and as Consumer Reports said, "While nothing is (evidently) indestructible, we expect that any of these phones should stand up to typical use."

Only if you're someone who's easily fooled by edited video.

I swear. Schools need to be teaching media studies. It's more important than reading these days.

----------

How do we know exactly that's what he did? Not saying he is a liar but we don't know for sure what happened.

Having seen his videos, how they're edited and the suspect condition of the iPhones themselves, not to mention the fact that every one of them is a straight up ad for the MotoX? I'm calling him a liar. A flat out bald faced liar.

Yea right. I did film at school. Media work. Write directed and edited a short movie. Investigated various forms of media from print to radio to tv. If you think he doesn't or can't bend a 6+ you need your head seeing to. It's real get over it.

Nothing to get over. I'm not saying you can't bend the phone. But the video is edited in a deceptive way. You should be able to see that.

I can see the edit yes but I still believe he can bend the iPhone the way he demonstrates and I also believe in some instances the iPhone 6+ will bend slightly from carrying certain ways which sets it up to be bent further which is what he talks about in his first video.

Why does the phone go right to the start screen if he just took it out of the box?

Wouldn't it start at the activation screen?

Yes the phone can bend if people purposely try to bend it, but this guy is shady as hell and a disgrace.

He answered that on Twitter. He activated it with his sim to give viewers a home screen to see. He had witnesses there and invited anyone down. You could have gone witnessed it if you were close.

You're welcome to believe whatever you like. However, there are obvious problems with this video that call into question the veracity of the content. It wouldn't stand up in a court and it certainly doesn't stand the sniff test of even casual observers like myself. If and when a significant number of people report bent phones from normal use then I'll start being concerned. Until then I'll take what's obviously a fixed up ad for the MotoX for what it's worth: next to nothing.

Yet he conveniently failed to include that on the video while claiming that the phone was fresh from the box. That's a lie by omission at the very least.

Why are they bending so easy in apple stores?

https://plus.google.com/app/basic/stream/z13scvf51ny5clhwz04cgvtplqvntzhr334

What other than this pictures shows it bent easily? When people bend them with their hands all the force they put on the aluminum is directed on the weak point. All that pressure on one point would never happen in someone's pocket. I'm amazed at the people who think this is such a problem. You have the few incidents out of 10 million in addition to the idiots who are straight up trying to bend them and expect people to believe it's going to bend in half in their pocket.

Interpreting this one image of a single phone at one Apple Store as phones bending easily at all Apple Stores is so utterly disingenuous that it really doesn't deserve a legitimate answer.

PS: Images are easily faked. Welcome to 2014.

It would put that pressure in my pocket in that exact point. I knew this because my 5S dug into me. The 6+ is too big for me to run jump climb punch kick move. The 6+ would bend at that point if I did those things with it in my pocket because its Ito big for me. The 6 doesn't. I thought it may becaue it's bigger than my 5s which didn't bend in my pocket but did occasionally dig in which cause enough stress over time that it could but didn't bend. The 6 fits my oocket better than the 5s but a 6+ would have dug in me when I do the things I do. Would it bend due to those activities? I don't know but i think it might and anyway it would feel unconftsbkr and heavy in my Levi's and especially in my tracksuit bottoms. That's why I didn't buy a 6+. The 6+ is just not designed for me. The 6 is.

"Bendgate" Video Faked?

No it wouldn't. It would be dispersed along the back not in the area of what thumbs would put.

Your pocket isn't going to localize the pressure like your thumbs would.
