I love the sillyness of the new iPhone critics. If you don't like the phone then why did you buy it? If you bought it and don't like it, return it and get a Android phone. People need to realize that there are people on these sites by design to discredit the iPhone. It is almost a business practice anymore. I say you buy what you like and enjoy it.

Well said and to add to that, don't wear skinny jeans with an iphone 6 plus.:)

the 5 bending stories alone did not change my mind but the realization its not as pocket friendly as something a bit smaller

I don't consider my jeans skinny but they are for sure not baggy

I am just wondering if this fiasco with the bending issue with the iPhone 6 (whether a legit concern or not) has caused you to change your mind about getting the iPhone 6+ - whether returning it or cancelling an order?

This isn't a fiasco, it is a funny end result of yet another successful iPhone launch. Every two years drama is manufactured to make it look like Apple didn't have the biggest success in the history of retail, every two years the issue is quickly forgotten and look back upon with humorous nostalgia.

Frankly, I would be disappointed if the media didn't make up something bad about the iPhone, would mean Apple didn't do it's job.

No, but dealing with AT&T has changed my mind on wanting a phone all together... almost.

they are worse in Canada, the CRTC came down hard on the last year set limits to overages and made contracts 2 year max, use to be 3

now all the carries increased their plans and if you want a phone on contract its *select plans

and if you have an older plan with a much better rate they say you have to change your plan for a new 2 year contract

I canceled my pre order from at&t due to this issue. At this price point, it should be 'rock solid'. I don't want to worry about breaking it all the time. I'm used to 4.7" currently have a Moto X, and I wanted a bigger screen, may get a LG G3 and have 5.5" but in a smaller form factor.

It hasn't changed my mind, but it has made me more aware in the way I handle or carry my phone. I don't really carry my phone in my pockets since if it's not in my hands it's in my purse. But I will definitely be more careful with the 6+ than I am with the 5s.

I hope Apple never makes a phone the size of the iPhone 6Plus thus it will be in a league of its own and I will be one of the lucky owners of a "limited" iPhone class.

The way Samsung has been doing videos to try to poke fun at Apple, it will be interesting to see if they come out with anything in regard to this issue! :)

The only fiasco is the constant threads like this one.

My 6+ doesn't bend.

Unless I apply pressure with two hands.

If someone changes their mind, well they are missing out on a great experience.

I have been waiting years for an iOS phone this size, glad I brought it, going to keep it, and ain't worried in the least about bendgate.

I have the 6 Plus and never changed my mind after hearing about the bend-gate fiasco. Just don't bend it that way, and don't put it in your back or front pocket and you will be fine.

I am rethinking, I will see what happend in coming weeks.

The issue isnt that the Plus can bend, its more that there is one weak point. The bottom of the volume buttons, thats where they all fail. A case won't add a lot of protection for that as it will also bend, but it will add a few lateral mm of buffer

No. I just won't twist it until it bends. I'll try not to drive my truck over it either.

I picked up the 6 and cancelled the + back ordered pre order.
If I didn't have the 6 I probably wouldn't have cancelled.
This event just gave me an excuse

This is still very much a "wait-and-see". I mean, millions of these have been sold and used so far and we still only have a handful of actual reports and a bunch of sensationalized videos.

Unfortunately it has changed my mind. I was so happy to finally be back on iOS, but now it has me worried too much about breaking a $900 phone, when I never gave Note 3 a second thought in my pocket.

I'll wait and see how the story develops, and will monitor my phone, but right now I'm close to 50/50 on returning it and waiting for the S version.

So the news everywhere, and the users everywhere with bending issues are doing that? The video is doing that, the users are using, and the weakpoint below the vomume buttons is failing. Quite simple.
