iPhone X Bent iPhone question

    Doesn't matter where you buy it. Apple will cover it under OOW as long as it contains all original parts and hasn't been tampered with. Thats why its called out of warranty.

    If it’s bent then it has been tampered with and is damaged. If the item is not damaged then the situation is different.

    I don’t think you understand the point of the OOW. It is for damaged devices. Your iPhone can be ran over by a car and shattered beyond repair and they will still replace it. Tampered means opened up, parts removed and so forth. A bent phone is without a doubt covered by OOW.

    According to Apple’s repair guide, bent is covered under OOW.

    I returned it to the Bay seller. I figured that was the easiest thing to do. I don't know why I need to provide proof. Anyways, if the mods can delete this thread...
