My phone also wobbles into the top left corner. I've also decided not to exchange it because it's otherwise in perfect working order. If this leads to problems down the line, that's what Applecare is for.

are you sure the surface youre placing your phone on isnt uneven? ive place my phone on what seems a flat surface and it wobbles but ill move it over an inch and it lays completely flat. your floor, like mine, could be uneven.

Even if this is true, your own post history does you no favors.

Hogwash. I stand by my posts. Besides, this personal squabbling is pointless. The only reason mailbox is doing it is to distract from the absurdity of his "silent fix theory."

Well, I asked you a question, like 50 times, and you're never answering it. So yes, people do see that you're deflecting...

You're just making yourself look bad. I tell you, apologize for attacking me on something I have never done, that will help with your image, I guarantee you...

I answered it sufficiently the first time you asked it. The fact that you keep asking it over and over again really isn't my problem.

The 6+ is a niche product. Have you considered that those who wanted it got their orders filled?

As for bending. Would not be surprised.

you never answered it, quote yourself if your did. Your history is there for anybody to see....

It wobbles on every single surface I place it on.

by the time this launch is over. I'm betting about a 50/50 split between 6 and 6 Plus. Hardly a niche product.

I'd take that bet. Right now the spread is about 6 to 1. There's no way as many people buy and keep the plus. Not a chance.

This is 100% identical to my post in another thread. If you plan on taking it to the applestore to swap out, please report back exactly how it went. I was able to get mine swapped out after an argument with the genius after I refused paying the $80 applecare claim. here is my pic of my bent gold 6+.

Just got back from the Apple store. The genius replaced my phone at no cost without question. I do not have Applecare+. He started out suspecting my phone wobbled due to the camera but after he looked closer he offered me a replacement. The whole process took about 15 minutes and I was given a brand new replacement 6+ SG 64GB. I was worried after reading so many horror stories from people that refused a repair at no cost, but my experience was not like this at all. The Genius who helped me said he (Apple) wants me to be extremely satisfied with my device. My new phone appears to be perfect and I hope to keep it that way, I must admit I am nervous now about keeping the phone in my pocket. I am contemplating selling my new pristine 6+ and switching to a regular 6... we shall see. In the meantime, I cannot complain one bit about how Apple handled this issue for me - they did right be me. I am hoping it was just a bad phone to begin with.

The 6 isn't going to help you much. I have a 6 and it gets twisted in my pocket and I'm being 100% honest here... I don't put it in my pockets for long periods of time and I don't sit down with it in my pocket. I always take it out and place it on a flat surface. I baby this thing.

Note the adoption rates. Looks like 6.1 to 1.8 or so. Regardless, it's no where near 50/50. Not even close.

So basically 3 to 1. Apple initially was building them at a 65:35 ratio and now changing it to a 55:45 due to the high demand. There is a shortage of iPhone 6 Plus models due to Apple underestimating the demand. Obviously the 65:35 ratio produced way too many 6 models, and thus why you can easily find them.

So they've sold fewer 6 pluses, plan to continue making fewer 6 pluses, and the takeaway is they'll sell just as many 6 pluses. Got it...

They will sell more. Instead of selling them at a rate of 35/plus to 65/6 models, they expect to sell them at 45/Plus model to 55/6 model ratio. So I don't know where you math is at, but that's selling more Plus models than planned. But of course all of them will be bent in 6 months according to some of your other posts.

Niche product? Those who wanted it got there orders filled? Really?, 3-4 week wait on 6+ from apple still. Vs 7-10 days for 6. Apple obviously underestimated demand for the 6 plus. Hardly a niche product and hardly meeting demand.

Clearly. And even if we assume 4:1 6:6 Plus that's still well north of 10 million Plusses in the wild at this point.

We have had some debates here as to whether or not Apple would be working on a fix for the 6+ and limit supply in the meantime.

There may be some indication of that happening right now.

Although we've read plenty of reports that the demand for 6+ was underestimated, and that production lines were reorganized to produce more 6+, the usage statistics indicate than usage of 6+ over the last week is pretty flat (while the usage statistics for the 6 keep steadily rising).

Although there could be a few things to explain this constrained supply, tweaking the manufacturing process is certainly one of them

https://mixpanel.com/trends/#report/iphone_6/from_date:-29,report_unit:day,to_date:0

Last 8 days, iPhone6+ usage went from 1.45% to 1.61% (+11%)
The 8 days before that, iPhone 6+ usage went from 0.80% to 1.45% (+81%)

Although it is normal for the curve to flatten over time, the flattening of the 6 is much less brutal:

During the same periods iPhone6 usage increased by 13%
the 8 days before that iPhone6 usage had increased by 29%

So your theory may have been right all along:

Your constant critics like Saab9573, Surf Monkey, KdParker, McDaddio, etc. may have some crow to eat if this is true.....

And Surf Monkey will owe us all some money:

But I am not buying these rumors yet. In the original thread he is comparing weight of two different phones (16GB vs 128GB if I recall). Waiting for official teardown proof.

Don't believe all the hype going around. A silent fix would be an admission of an inferior product. While this may be An issue the number of people reporting this are minute at best do Apple probably won't even address the issue anymore than they've already

no chance, if there was no such thing as people doing tear downs sure maybe they would sneak in a fix but if phones have extra parts it will be caught and it will get ugly unless they offer replacements for everyone
