Oh please, apple, like any other big manufacturer had a big history of flows in their products, just recent example - MBP 2011 and class action lawsuit. It all would be settle, one way or another, like usually.
 
I too did not believe in Bendgate at first. Much to my chagrin, i had my 6+ flat on a table and noticed a wobble when i tapped the corners diagonally. It is very slight but the wobble is definitely there. I have had my phone in an Apple silicon case since day 1 and have been very careful with it. I do keep it in my front pants pocket when walking around (rarely while sitting), and i don't wear tight clothes. Tonight I compared it to my wife's 6+ and there is indeed a very slight bend on mine right under the volume buttons. You can't see it unless you look very closely. The bending on the 6+ is most definitely real. A 30 day old phone should not bend in the course of normal use.
