Hard pressed to find any corporation that paid more then 15% actual taxes in the US. If you find one that has paid the highest 39.1%, may want to play the lottery, your lucky day. Apple last year paid 8% actual tax rate. Corporations are really good whiners, just need some sharp cheddar cheese and the whine paired nicely.
Apple's rate was more like 25%.

But yes, there are lots of corporations that pay that maximum rate. Not every corporation is a multinational that can leave profits overseas indefinitely. American corporations are at a disadvantage because they can't repatriate profits or need to do ludicrous things such as Apple borrowing money in order to pay dividends without paying additional taxes. Most other countries do not try to tax worldwide income.

Sanders will destroy the USA. He wants to give everything away for free. Where do you think the money comes from? US TAX PAYERS!!!! I'll never vote for this old hippie socialist bastard!!
Well, the AP just declared that Hillary has the necessary delegates to be the presumptive nominee, so your choices are her or Trump. Gary Johnson is also on the ballot in all 50 states.

Effective not Actual which is the check they wrote.

Effective IS actual. The distinction is effective vs marginal. The former is your total taxes vs your overall income while marginal is what you paid on your last dollar.

Poor execution on my part. What I was trying to say:
Apple, which made $53 billion in net income this year, says it pays an effective corporate tax rate in the U.S. of around 25 percent, despite the on-paper corporate rate of 35 percent. Some have said is actually more like 8 percent and it has avoided paying billions in taxes. The strategies it’s used to reduce its tax bills have drawn scrutiny from the U.S. Senate and the European Commission.
What they actually write the check amount for is reality and the actual tax rate. Apple not alone.

I am sure you have all poured over Apple's Annual Reports to identify how much money it spends on Payroll Taxes and Healthcare costs. Can you share those numbers as well?

Funny that the profanity filter didn’t get you there.

The problem with socialists is that their plans never work and their solutions are always more socialism, no matter how often it fails. Socialism is never the problem to these people; it's always someone else or something else.

I don't see why anyone with a brain trusts anyone else – especially a government that has proven itself to only listen to deep pockets which most people don't have – to solve their problems or make their life genuinely better.

It doesn't matter who wins; we lose.

Yeah but Steve wasn't a hypocrite. He kept his mouth shut and didn't pretend that Apple was anything other than a normal greedy corporate. Tim Cook just keeps coming out with this altruistic BS which patiently isn't true.

Why do so many people refer to a corporation earning a profit as greed? I, you, and everyone else (that works) earns money for our work. We profit. So i guess everyone is greedy. Unless you happen to go to work every day but decline to receive a paycheck.
