Best:
Speed
RAM and HDD easily replaceable
Upto 4gb RAM
Price
Excellent keyboard and trackpad
Recessed ports
Slot load drive
Webcam
Wifi far superior to that of the Macbook Pro.

Worst:
Palmrest area goes shiny after a while

If the screen is an issue for you then you shouldn't be looking at a consumer machine anyway, as you are a pro/power user.

WHITE : Palmrests!!! mine are now a horrible beige colour and there is nothing that can get it off apart from that mr clean stuff which is only available in the us !

Pop into a hardware store and look for a chemical called Isopropanol (also known as propan-2-ol)! It breaks down the grease and will not damage the plastic. Be sure to get pure Isopropanol!

Worst:
No MagSafe adapter for car power ports (after all these years - ridiculous) + crap battery time if screen is bright enough to see with any amount of natural light.

Best:
Everything else.
