Verge review was pretty bad. Nilay completely missed the point and even worse he essentially reviewed the Watch with 47 apps installed. There are those of us that will use it properly and not complain that we're inundated with notifications for apps that we installed ourselves.

The 'Verge Score'
'Best smartwatch you can buy' : 7.0
Moto 360 : 8.1

Here's something useful involving actual critical thought:

Oh wow, it looks like Nilay had a bit of a meltdown yesterday.

The best part:

did it ever occur to anyone that i wear the thing as a studied reminder that i do not want to ever fit in or be a ****ing suit
from https://twitter.com/reckless/status/587354199530328066

Followed shortly by his own RT of a Vine video which shows him... wearing a suit pretty much throughout his whole Apple Watch review...

Such rebellious.

Here's the best review of the Watch I've read:

And here is Nilay taking himself too seriously. He's been known to **** on the Watch the moment it was announced:

I thought the verge raised some important negatives like how annoying all those notifications can be and how you will end up ignoring people on your wrist and in real life at the same time. I didnt think the review was bias in any way but they just spent a bit too much time on the negatives and didn't highlight how in the long run smart watches will change people's lives and make life a bit easier when used in the correct way.

it has been shown somewhere on this site where there is a lengthy list for each app for options to customize exactly what hits your watch. As long as you take the time to set up your expensive new toy, you will not have to worry about to many notification because the ones you get you know are important.

Yeah, I've been through this process with my Pebble watch. It ain't 'king rocket science, that's for sure, and it's nothing specific to the Apple watch. It's all about how much exactly you need to know immediately, and how much you don't.
