Not running as such but i used the Nike Sport band that came with my watch when i've played cricket and its been fine. Holes allow it to vent a bit as such, can be adjusted quickly and easily if my wrist swells if it gets warm which i do have happen quite a bit and can easily be wiped down afterwards if need be.

Yes, that. Cleaning it is easy. I just hop in the shower with it on, and it's clean. Easy... Just remember to take it off and dry the whole thing...

I tried hand washing my bike bibs, and it just didn't go well. I ended up having some foam develop in those neither regions, and was so disgusted, my experiment was a total abject failure. Cleaning biking attire is an issue for most riders.

But anyway, the plastic bands don't absorb sweat, and laugh at everything I can throw at it. But you do you. I did buy one of those 'Sport Loop' bands, but just never use it. It just feels wrong. Like the Milanese loop bands, they look great, but they yank the hairs on my wrists and drive me nuts...

This one looks really god to me today...
My dad gave me a stainless metallic bands-very uncomfortable-yanks hairs, pinches and magnet slips.

And my attempt to like the Milanese loop was interesting. The sweat would stay in the band too, and eventually start kinda flaking out. Like I said, I apparently sweat a lot... So I have one black Milanese loop, unused, and one 'silver' used a bit that I'll be throwing up on ebay soon. I do like the concept of the Milanese loop, but not the execution. (The old Spiedel (SP) bands would rip hair too. Hated them with a passion)

Yes, it's great for looks and putting on and resizing band-very quick-wearing while moving your arm at all? Not good.

Are you asking?

Yeah. It does actually adjust itself at times, which was odd at first, but I got used to it. It was the hair pulling and caked sweat that did it in for me. Well, and once it did adjust itself because I got caught on something, and it nearly fell off my wrist. What's cool is the magnet is pretty strong, and it doesn't (didn't) make any marks in the band when it slipped. The end of the band, with the magnet, seemed to have some of the finish wear off of it a bit. Call it 'seasoned'? The only thing I can think of is my personal uniform, jeans and t-shirts, wore on that tab. It's pretty noticeable too.

I like the Sport Band because it's just the easiest and quickest to clean and dry and get back onto your wrist. With the Nike Sport Band you have the holes so when you wash it, some moisture is still in the holes for awhile no matter how well you dry or shake it out. Anything with any kind of fabric is a no-go for me because I sweat a lot when I work out and I don't want to be wearing something soggy on my wrist. That's how you get "wrist stank".

Plus I'm convinced that sweat can ruin the elastic in 'stretchy' bands.

Oh, you mean 'watch band'? I really love my Nike black/volt band.

IMO, that band is the best color combo Apple ever released. I wish I would have bought one back in the day. I went with the black band with grey highlights & didn't realize that they were going to get rid of black/volt so quickly.

I was surprised too. Check some resellers like Worst Try, and Target, etc, as they sometimes have bands that are discoed from Apple. But so many bands are just available at the Apple Stores that when they are discoed, they are gone. Carpe Bando? If you see it, and want it, GRAB IT!

Sport loops.

I have an Apple one and a knock-off. Swap them after workout complete. Less sweaty and hot than the silicone bands.

And for cleaning subject, every other week, I put them inside a lycra arm sleeve I use for my phone and drop into a load of laundry. Air dry after.
