Best brand selfie stick?

They're actually a great invention, now you can take a group picture anywhere.

That's my whole point!

You get to ask someone who is not in the group (or doesn't care to be) to take the picture.

Selfie sticks? completely useless.
Wait a sec.. You can mount a scrubbing pad on the end, and use it to clean the 2nd floor windows.
So, I take it back - not completely useless. :D

I don't find selfie sticks annoying, but rather the people who need to take pictures of everything. Like my best friends girlfriend. Going to gas station, first take a picture.

out to dinner? Cant eat without taking a picture first.

Wrong, they are absolutely not completely useless. They have a very handy use, if you want everyone in the picture and you're not in a public place or, you don't feel like handing your $300+ camera/phone to a complete stranger!

Well... Who is going to cart a selfie stick wherever they go for the incredibly rare occasion when they want one? Or you can be like one those really annoying tourists that use them all the time. Your choice.
 
Just my opinion (which, of course, is the only valid one :D )
The photographer ops out of the picture. That's where the photographer should be - taking the picture (not IN the picture).

Our phone cameras have an amazing feature called delayed shutter, so you can frame the photo and get into the picture. No stick required.

And how do you prop the phone up just right??
 
I use it for go pro, very useful, but I would agree in the restaurant or some other places its gets annoying when 5 people taking selfies and you're in the middle of them!
