Looking to use a calendar app for my whole family on our phones that sync up with the budget Tablet just for the calendar at home.

Sorry was looking for something more in the $50 to $100 range if possible. Unless it is not worth it.

Cheapest is probably the Amazon Fire HD 10. You just won’t have the specific Google calendar app from Google itself as Google don’t make their apps available on competing Android platforms, so you’ll just have to sync your calendar to the built in app or a 3rd party calendar app.

There’s also the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1”. There are older models that is probably quite cheap, but of course don’t expect much in terms of hardware spec.

You can pick up a cheap fire tablet (running a fork of android) and then grab a "show mode" adapter for it. The show mode turns the tablet into the amazon show type product, much like a google home hub

fire 8 HD tablet:

I'm not sure if they make a "show mode" for the cheaper 7" tablet but worth a look.

although, I'm not 100% sure if Amazon's android fork will have what you are looking for but is another option.

I too recommend an Amazon Fire HD 8... or wait for a sale on the HD 10 to hit $100.

It is very straight forward to install Google Services on it if you need access to the Google Play store or access to Google's calendar app.

Check out my threads here on MR for the HD 10, HD 8, and Fire 7. They are all capable tablets at great prices. If you are going to install Google Services on one of them, then I don't recommend the Fire 7 as it becomes too big of a drain on it and slows the entire tablet down. The HD 10 and HD 8 can handle it without breaking a sweat.
