FLAT BUMPER

I picked this bumper up at the Apple store a few weeks ago. Solid and very well made. The only other bumper I've tried was the Monoprice, which is just eh. This one blows it out of the water.

Seems very similar to the Monoprice one, but about 8x as expensive.

Hi walds11

I've been considering this case, but have only seen pictures online. Can you please tell me, does fitting the case require any hard plastic to be snapped over the edges of the iPhone?

I'm guessing from the pictures that it may only be the softer rubber that holds the phone in place?

I'm trying to avoid buying a case that, through being fitted and removed, could scratch the edges of my phone (as other cases have done previously).

No hard plastic inside, it's soft. The only negative is that the home button is stiff although it has loosened up a bit. It is more bulky than the original Apple bumper.

I am going to give the SPIGEN SGP Neo Hybrid EX Slim Metal bumper a shot. It's looks very slim which is what I am looking for.

The coolest case I've found

Tesla real bumpmer

Thank you sir! I found my next bumper and it should resolve my issue with adapters and such! The Tesla Real Bumper is wide open on the bottom so that means when I use adapters and such on docks I don't have to take the case off. It also looks like the power support bumper as well.

Thanks again!

I have the colorant b1 bumper that is the same of the tesla, and I previously has the power support flat bumpee and i can tell you that the colorant fits 10 times better than de PS... Its a really good case..

Bumpers are a gateway drug to wanting to carry your iPhone naked. I rocked a big ol' Incase Slider for my 3GS, a bumper for my 4S, and now I am just using clear films for my 5s.

Where can you buy the Tesla Real Bumper for iPhone 5s besides eBay?
Oops, never mind . . . just clicked on the link.

Did you buy it at a site that is local to the US? A lot of these bumpers are tied to South Korean websites.

Looks very similar to monoprice. How is this one better? Does it have some magical powers or something? Because the is about 8x's higher.

I have not tried the mono price but I can tell you this fits really tight on my iPhone. I've tried a few other cheaper bumpers and I could tell they will stretch out quickly over time.

How is the quality of the PS Flat Bumper? Do the buttons have tactile feedback?
Is it compatible with the iPhone 5S? It's kind of misleading. The bumper is categorized under iPhone 5/5c/5s, but there is a note in the bumper page...

This product is not compatible with iPhone 5s/5c.

The Telsa bumper that was posted earlier in this thread looks very similar. Almost looks like a knockoff.

The Tesla Bumper does appear to be a knockoff but the big difference besides price is the bottom slots. On the Tesla, it's completely open on the bottom so adapters and docks should not be a problem.

I bought it on ebay and the seller was from china or some nesr place,, but I can tell you that is worth the long wait.. It fits perfect.. In my opinion much better that the 3 PS flat bumpers that i had... The advantage on the Ps is the bottom part that its much more beautiful..

I didn't like this case, i'm waiting for my caze thinedge

I've been using the thin edge for like 8 months now. I think its the best looking bumper. I have 3 friends that ordered the same bumper after seeing mine. Only thing that sucks is the shipping time of 3-4 weeks since its from Hong Kong.

What's the point of a bumper

Or, to add on to the previous post, it's for people who would really like to use the phone naked, but are concerned with how easily it could slip out of your hands, or off a smooth, flat surface, so a bumper gives you something to "grip".
