I didn't know they had this sale going on. I doubt that the discount for Black Friday will be $100, so I just went ahead and purchased one today. I only did so because I have 2 of the Best Buy Mover's coupons, which saves me 10%. (If it turns out to actually be $100 off I'll use the other coupon and repurchase and send this one back to save an additional $50.) So all in all I just spent $344 after taxes. Better than the Target deal considering it's just money taken off as opposed to having a gift card. Bundled with my $100 cashback on Chase, and selling two Fitbits I have, I should get back another $200, so I'm really satisfied with this purchase. The price has always been my main concern, so I can rest easily knowing I've saved a ton.

If it ends up being $100 off the SS models plus the movers coupon (which you can get for ~$10 on eBay) that would be awesome.

My local store has the 38mm SS open box (excellent condition) for $465 plus the movers coupon drops it to $442 out the door after taxes.

It is $100 off. You can check their ad on their website for black friday and if it was one of their "secret" items then that can be found on bfads.net

As far as I can tell, the ad for Best Buy BF says "Save up to $100 off"

Fine print:
"Minimum savings is $25."

Ad just says "Up to $100." If it were $100 across the board they would just say "$100 Off." Guarantee Sport model gets $50 off and normal model gets $100 off.

I just bought an open box 42mm rose gold (it still had the plastic wrapper on the watch, only the box was opened) from best buy for $303 and then I used apple pay with my discover and saved another 10%. It was $272.70 total. Much easier and cheaper than dealing with black friday.

Nothing is stopping me from returning it and repurchasing it on the spot. The associate told me I could do so.

True, but you would still have to make the effort to go in store. If they have stock, sure they would honor it. If they were out of stock you would have to decide if you want to return it or not.

I agree there is no reason they would not adjust the price if they have stock, but it is not something best buy will do over the phone, and it must be in stock when you get in store. I bet they even do it as a return and resale vs. a price match.

get that movers coupon! That would have been another 10%

So I just returned my SS/Milanese with the intention of possibly buying it again later this week or on BF. The one I got had issues anyway, a lot of apps would not install or run and it would not add my card for Apple Pay. Anyway I also stopped by the post office and got the Mover's Guide but the coupon inside is 10% off only certain things (appliances, home theater, connected home) and only 5% now on everything else. Anyone know if the online coupon is still 10% off anything?

If you were trying to do those things right after you setup the watch, my guess is that it was just backed up. The first day a lot of stuff is loading and updating so give it a couple of days to settle down. What I recommend is that as soon as you pair it for the first time, select NOT to automatically load all the apps available. Then do the OS update to 2, if its not already done. Once its paired and working, then go into the Apple Watch app on your iPhone and add a couple of apps at a time, vs. a dump of everything at once.

Yes, I tried that and it was still having problems. I even completely erased and set up as new a couple of times and that didn't help.

The 10% online coupon works on the apple watch. Just eBay search "bestbuy online coupon." They run about $10.

I used one on the Apple Watch today as a gift and a Vizio TV. Separate transactions.

Weird the Best Buy site now says "store pickup unavailable" for all models, at least in my area...they can't all be sold out when they had most in stock at all the stores near me yesterday?

yep mine shows same thing. and they have PLENTY in store.

It may have to do with the fact that you can't just go buy a watch from anyone in Best Buy. The store here only has certain people authorized. When I went in there and tried to just try one on, the guy who sold a Macbook and Apple TV to two customers ahead of me wasn't able to do it, and then came back and told me that no one in the store was authorized.

I predict on Black Friday that some of the Best Buy stores will be a train wreck when it comes to the Apple Watch. Most things they sell there require very little skill to sell.. mostly spouting off some stats that are written on a placard, and then handing you a box to go checkout. They have apparently made the Apple Watch hard to sell and don't trust their usual sales people with it. Good luck finding one on Black Friday!

I plan to just go get the $50 off sale price and ask for another 10% off since I'm pretty buddy buddy with some of the guys there. Use my discover card for 22% back should be a nice score

Well at least here in my area in-store pickup was an option until yesterday. I was able to check and see which stores nearby carried which models. Now it seems that option has been removed from the website.

You are probably right about the train wreck though. When I purchased one at my local store a couple weeks ago first the Apple guy said I could add ApplCare+ after the purchase, then the cashier that rang me looked at a chart and confirmed I had 6 days to do so. When I went to a different store 2 days later to add the AppleCare plan I was told no, it had to be purchased with the watch. I went back to the original store and even the customer service desk person did not know this was the case. She also thought it could be added later. I ended up having to box mine up and return it then buy a new one because the service plan could not be added to my original watch's serial number once it had been sold. Long story short it was a major pain in the ass because I was given the wrong information by two people the first time, including the Apple guy.

Okay so I have a few questions.

1. The best buy movers coupon works on apple watch?

2. The discover with apple pay, you get 10% off immed or when the bill comes?

3. Right now Best Buy has the SP 42MM sport for 350$. You think the black friday takes another 25-100$ off (Since it says up to 100) or will it be off the 400$ price? Thanks.

4. lets say the BF deal is 50$ off, that makes the one I want 300$, I can then use a mover coupon and discover with apple pay?
