If I am not seeing things, basic version $949.99. If you are the market check it out for Best Buy only. Showed up on my app, not sure if 8 hours left or 8 hours into sale. Better check soon if you care. Hope I am right.

It’s counting down. Only 8 hours left I would think. Sorry I didn’t see it sooner. Hope someone grabs a deal.

REALLY good deal on the 256gb. I'd jump all over this if I were in the market.

Hmm. It’s either the 256gb mba or the 2018 touch map for 1400. This is tough. But the keyboard issues are holding me back.

Good to hear. I just wish I had noticed sooner for people. I am pretty new to the Best Buy app, so I don't check it often. People might want to check it out, and you might have to be signed in to see deals. I know my sister has an accoount and has to be a member, or whatever it is called to see certain prices.

Good luck everyone! That's a really good deal!

Great deal. It's also a good idea to check microcenter's stock for open box/clearance as I was able to get an open box base model for $150 less, bringing the price down from $999 to $850.

I want in on the deal. I have a 2011 MBA and it's time to replace. Can someone post immediately when Best Buys offers the same deal at $1099? Is this the one that offers 256SSD? Thanks.

still some deals going on, but I think you have to trade-in, to get the $200 off. (fine print)
    128SSD is $999 with the trade-in value.

Does everyone think 8GB will be enough for the next 4-5 Years? I am talking for surfing the web, checking email, typing papers.

Thanks for posting. So both these models are $200 less than what Apple offers, but I can't trade-in my 2011 MBA. Someone wants it. So I guess, the price is back to Apple Store prices without a trade-in. What does Best Buy want with my old 2011 MBA anyway? The thing is Apple offers 6% corporate discount on any laptop which is not a good of a discount compared to $200.

Best Buy wants your old 2011 Air so they can retire it and get it out of circulation. My guess they are going to sell it to Apple for recycling. The less there are of the old Apple computers out there, the more folks will want the new ones.

I’m seriously thinking about going ahead and picking one up. I was going to wait until July, but this seems like a good deal as any.

Anyone know how long this deal is for? Also, I’m wandering if I can get by with the 128GB hard drive? My old mini has 256, but I’m not sure I’ll put everything it has on the new laptop or maybe I’ll use it to replace the mini? Idk. LOL.

Nice. I had to match the $999 price last weekend from $1049. Had the $50 off student discount which brought it to $949 final cost after matching it with their own sale price.

No student deal on the $949, or I'd be back over there again.

Here's a deal tip I mentioned in another thread:

Costco sells Applecare+ for the Macbook Air for $199. The SKU at Costco is 1320766. While Costco requires the two to be purchased together, they have them priced individually in the computer. Have BB call your local Costco and verify the price of AppleCare+. Now you can get the Air for $949 and Applecare+ for $199.
