Having the slide locked to the pasteboard at the top-left corner makes some animation work extremely difficult if not impossible. A serious flaw.

I'd like the ability to name my animation objects. Complex animation gets extremely hard to manage without being able to easily identify your objects.

And why can't I export a timed presentation to a QuickTime movie? I brought in my audio, I carefully timed my animations and my automatic slide presentations to the audio. When I run the presentation it is perfect from beginning to end. But Keynote won't allow me to export it in this self-running, previously-timed format to a QuickTime movie. Lame. I end up having to run the presentation and record it using ScreenFlow, then publish from there. Really lame.

Thanks for the feedback on Keynote. You are definitely using some advanced features I do not use at the moment. I hope they address those needs to make it a complete Power Point replacement. I dread ever having to use MS products again - so far I haven't thanks to Neo Office and iWork :)

Finally, I just updated to iLife'11 and was thinking about the iWork update on the App Store but thought that the current version was prime for a fresh. It's a no brainer and the individual updates make more sense for me.

This probably has been covered in some other thread but:
What new features do you expect/hope for when 11 comes out?
I can only think of iWork.com coming out of beta.

Well, I live in Mexico and this is the first time I've heard of Best Buy existing down here. I'm thinking this is a typo, as many things are down here, people just get lazy and don't get their facts straight before they post or publish something.

Great to know that's coming. Too bad the poor responsible person who made that info public may end up getting fired.
Regardless of his/her intentions, "Thank you" whoever you are for letting us know in advance.

Hopefully it will be compatible with iWork for iPad, unless there's an update for it too. :D

Idk I feel like Pages '09 finally has it down and it easily is my favorite text editor, much cleaner than Office and is amazing at handling images. Not sure what they'll add, but I'm kind of interested.

Seriously you dread using the satanic MS products again? The new Office blows iWork away and is a great product, not flawless, but great. iWork can but dream. Bigger fool you friend.

So because Neo Office and Keynote serve my needs, I should go out and blindly give MS more money based on your feedback? Interesting.

It seems it has already been pulled: http://www.bestbuy.com.mx

This was the page: http://www.bestbuy.com.mx/evento3

Don't know in the US, but in Mexico Best Buy not only has a very limited supply, but the very few items I have found were pretty expensive, several better places around to shop tech...

I love how it still says "Come in on February 19th from 4 to 7pm and discover what you can do with iWork '09." Come in and we'll show you how to use 2-year-old software? It just doesn't make sense to me.

In my opinion, I think it was meant to be iWork '11 all along; I don't think it was just a typo.
