I saw my local Best Buy had a Silver 32gb in stock in the morning. Went up about 3 hours later expecting it to be gone, but they still had one. I also apparently had done some deal last year that if I did an upgrade through them I'd get $50 dollars in GC . They applied it to the total balance, so I only had to pay $249 for my phone. Not a bad day.

I couldn't find anything at my 3 local Best Buy's today. I live in Delaware. I will try sometime this week to see if they have any in stock. I want the 64GB Space Grey iPhone 5S Verizon model.

I'm trying to buy my iPhone 5S from Best Buy since I have some gift cards from them. I just hope they let me price match so I don't have to pay $50 over retail. Their price matching policy says they only price match if it's a local retailer who has stock immediately available. The way they are selling out, I'm not sure anyone has any stock "immediately" available.

My best buy wouldn't match it. They are pretty confident someone will purchase even on contract.

I'm trying to buy it off contract since I'm switching carriers to T-Mobile. Even if I can't price match the full price, I'll still buy it there due to the gift cards. Just hope they don't try to hassle me to try and sign up for a contract or something.

If you are having a hard time having them price match have them look at their own Best Buy Low Price Guarantee policy that includes Apple.com as one of their defined "designated major online retailers".

Also have them look at their own forum where Maria from corporate has responded in the following thread that "As long as all the conditions are met, you can certainly request a price match for the iPhone 5S."

Also depending on what state you are in you may want to verify the amount of Sales Tax they are charging you as they seem to be incorrectly charging people in some cases.

Hope this helps.

I was able to buy a full price 32GB Silver Verizon iPhone 5 from my local Best Buy (Chula Vista), but it wasn't easy. They had make a "one-time" exception to sell it at full price because "stock is too low". Plus, they didn't want to price match Apple.com since they were already making a "one-time exception" for letting me buy it at full-price. Never thought Best Buy would fight hard to NOT sell me something :p
